ORIGIN

This treasure hunting makes her more willing to explore these caves now! It is a passion of hers, but this darkness was making Rinaotei decide to delay in her explorations since there's hardly anything to see right now. Still, she goes back in the same cavern as earlier, just poking her head in the same one where she found that crystal, couldn't look too far as her horns got in the way and made it challenging to nudge her head through. Her horns are just as unflexible if not more than her claws, it seems the most movements she can get these horns to move depends on how what the changes of her ears are which are in front of the horns. She doesn't really see any shine or reflection from say a crystal or gemstone to signify there's one in here. So she tries another, another she was familiar with and when Rina moved her face to be sure she could feel some air coming from this supposed wall and something shining too. Found one. When she shoves her body into the slit entrance, it thankfully wasn't as narrow as the one from earlier, so it was easier to get the blue stone that seemed to be plate-shaped that she was concerned if this was metallic and not a rock. She gets it anyway and while there was some metallic like armour it had coloured stones as embellishment some of which have chipped off. There was a few but only one clear, blue one so carefully she takes it, it may be small as a pebble, but it'll work it's still a blue stone as she adds the new addition to her growing horde of gifts to Mintaka.

Rinaotei did check the plate of armour too as she did bring that back to be sure whether it did have more blue or white ones that she can add to this. While she could just give the whole plate of armour, she feels like that won't be satisfactory especially if it has the same colours as the ones Mintaka's brothers have. That may provoke the red-eyed one into inciting another fight to claim perhaps that Rinaotei's allegiance is with them for bringing a red or black one too and that is not true in the slightest for out of all of them the red-eyed one was the one she was least likely to assist. She brings the armour to her horde so they could perhaps give some shine of light, probably not but it'll be more beneficial to check in her safe spot and ensure her collection is safe. And so she returns, and there was a little bit bigger crystal embellishment on it that's perhaps white or silver, it has a crack on it too which may mean it has weakened enough to remove safely. So she places the armour on the ground and attempts to rip it off the metallic plate with her jaws which hurt a little bit it eventually gave way, sending Rina back a bit. She puts this new one with the rest, rubbing at it a little with the hook of her tail to wipe it clean and dry even if the moisture of the steam is making that impossible for all of them.

Rinaotei didn't realise her tiredness was catching up with her again her eyes sometimes drooping again; her attention span was lowering back too as she needs to have some exploring still seeing how she can seem to handle to do some of her many explorations despite the darkness. Confident she ambulates around Fornax to maybe find more secret areas, she sure hopes that they aren't dens of smaller Gembound though Rina doesn't mean to disturb them with that thought the lupine ponders on things, perhaps she should return that armour then.

Rinaotei was taken by surprise as gravity just went full force on her without warning, not enough time for her to take flight as she was instantly submerged underwater, the water was warm and cosy though which made something clicks on Rinaotei head what just happened there. She literally walked straight into the hot springs of water without realising at all. Folding her wings and tucking her legs to her side she quickly swam upwards her swimming movement looked like a snake slithering across the land and soon she broke the surface film of the water taking some deep breaths. She chooses to stay in the water for a bit as perhaps she needs her break again if that folly ended up happening.

She stays there for a bit to rest even if the surprise of being submerged under all a sudden happened, still while things felt so amazing on the muscles on her body Rinaotei could feel something odd tugging sensation at one of her claws. It felt like something has caught her talon carefully she inspects and sees what appears to her luck a small white stone, a pearl from the looks of it. Perhaps it was a good idea to be submerged underwater then, it almost made her want to go back under the water and look to see if there's more but while she's confident she can explore even with this darkness, perhaps adventuring underwater in pitch black darkness was excessive and just a bad idea as of now. She takes some more time but eventually, she clambers out and adds that pearl as well, concluding that break will be enough for now.

While submerging herself entirely to investigate in this darkness may not be the best of ideas, especially if it's just so she can find more stones like that pearl, plainly she could only see if she can fish out some by the shore? With that in mind, she goes back over, careful in ensuring that she doesn't get herself submerged by accident again. Burying her muzzle in the water occasionally to see if she can find one to often darting it straight into the water when she suspects she saw something unusual flow in the water. But try as she must no stones she could give to Mintaka appeared for that matter the only thing she did catch was hot water and bubbles. Did she just do this as an excuse to enjoy that relaxing warm pool again?

Deciding she has had her fun, Rinaotei goes to look again for some stones, this time she searches in open area still instead of grottos thinking she just had her break no need to make her body sore again potentially. So even if it's liable that they'll be no stones to find to her surprise, there was a blue Gem that had a similar shade to her Gem. Counting it as one, she takes that too to put in the treasure horde.

She was treading over to her horde to give a count of them before planning whether or not to continue finding more but sadly for some balance of Rinaotei's good luck she ends up tripping over the said horde. The horde stayed intact thankfully, but Rina just went tumbling with a blank face at these unfortunates happenings even if she has mostly been lucky of sorts.

She didn't continue on her search just yet, instead although the horde is intact Rinaotei doesn't that when she picks herself back up she quickly goes to check and count them all to ensure none disappeared. Starting over from one folly such as tripping will be devastating.

During her sorting of her horde, Rinaotei decided to look around Fornax to see if any may have skidded away however instead of finding an ordinary-looking stone she finds what seems to be a smooth stone that has had blue painted upon it. Hopefully, she hasn't lost anything of her horde but if so then she'll take this as the replacement in she fails to find it. Carefully tucked in the wing, she ambulated back to the horde and gave another look and count though to her surprise it seems all are here and accounted for actually and this painted blue stone will be a nice bonus too. Taking a look at the amount she has that's starting to pile that she's wondering whether she'll be able to carry them all that once at this rate. With this significant amount, she concludes that perhaps one more will be enough and give all of these to Mintaka in Orion.

Rinaotei decides to see if she can find one more after that, that's the limit for this scout out. And although she thought it is a bad idea to swim underwater to find a stone she couldn't resist, the pearl itself is somewhat unique out of all of them in if all these stones do have some form of variety from all the others. Deciding it won't hurt just to give one look immediately she dives in. As before her legs are tucked to the sides, and her wings are folded in a little to be used like fins as she sways under the water once again looking like a slithering serpent. It was difficult to see anything, especially since Rinaotei needs to keep an eye on how far she is from the surface to get some air again no matter how beautiful this cosy water feels. But still she at what seems to be a floor of this water or perhaps not but there was some ground here which strangely has some bright light flashing it almost made her think it was a cave's lantern that didn't get shut down by the sabotaged Generator. On closer inspection what it was, was a sizeable gleaming pillar of a white crystal, it was small enough for her to carry along with the rest of the stones. But if she chooses this one she'll have to cut this search short as Rina doubts the draconian-wolf can add another gem if she includes this to the bunch. Since she was already going to leave soon whether her last find was significant or not Rinaotei decides to take it, tried pulling with all her might but it surprisingly wasn't wedged between anything, and this much force was excessive enough for Rinaotei to drag out feet away from its original spot instantly. She gags a little been underwater a bit too long and quickly swims back up her find included.

Going over she adds it to her whole horde, and from the size of it now Rinaotei decides that soon will be an excellent time to go. All the small stones she found she coils her long tail around, the bigger one such as that one the lupine just found underwater Rina scoops them with her wing and put them all on her back. Folding and wrapping the membrane air sails around her back to strap those bigger ones down so she can safely deliver them.

She sets off for Orion now.
