ORIGIN

Winter, the snake who was caring for Shade, had gone out some time ago, and he was left lying in his little “cave” by himself. He was bored out of his mind, and restless from being unable to move due to his broken ankle. Anytime he moved around too much, it twinged in protest, so he had to lie as still as possible when he wasn’t eating, or getting up to relieve himself outside. He was a bit closer to the entrance today, hoping that being able to look out a bit would help relieve his boredom a little. But there wasn’t much to look at, what with the lights still being out in the cave and all. He sighed, eyes half closed as he dozed off a bit.

It was nice here in Orion; the 'stars' gave some lighting, so Pippy didn't feel like being trapped in some nothingness that has whisked her soul away, forever walking in darkness with no comfort of others. While she would've loved for Equinox to remain a bit longer when they brought her here safely, she didn't want them to be stuck here if they had things to do, especially since Pippy felt a lot better from their company around and was OK with being left alone now. Pippy dearly hopes they'll meet again though.

Still, whether she was afraid of glowing-flying-things getting her again she needed to find water, wasn't thirsty per say but the young bat required to find the nearest drinkable water so she wouldn't get lost. For if she did, there was potentially getting attacked by some giant scary thing that'll hurt her and do whatever terrifying stuff to her while being weakened from thirst and risk having to go without water for a bit longer if she did make it out alive. So here she was, crawling around Orion to find water and appreciating how pretty it all looks. She did notice a large gathering of Gembound in one area, so she chooses to avoid that place.

She noticed a pretty big den, and although she has her own, Pippy was a little curious maybe water is there? Carefully she goes to it, prepared to dash out the moment she sees something, that's not water move.

@Shade

Shade was dozing off, but his nose started twitching when he was halfway asleep. He opened his eyes halfway to look around and noticed the teeniest, tiniest little creature coming towards him in the relative darkness. His ears pushed forward and his eyes opened all the way. His head lifted up off his paws as he studied the Gembound. He saw the gleam of a gemstone on their chest, but Lesser Gembounds had gemstones just like Greater ones did, and this creature was so small, he thought for sure it must be a Lesser one. But there was no point in trying to chase after it with his broken ankle, so instead he hissed at it, seeing if it would react. He was expecting it to go scampering off into the dark.

@Pippy

Curiously he inspected it, sniffing the air but he did catch some scent that made Pippy's instincts and fears start to flare for what he could smell, didn't seems like water if anything it was the scent of an another pretty big Gembound. Carefully he crawled to it; his sneaky movements look like a small bat's equivalent of attempting to tiptoe very quietly. He tries his best to calm himself down, with trying to think that he's acting silly after all; m-maybe they're a lovely and kind Gembound just like Zeno and Equinox even if they are big?

O-Oh looks like whoever they are they're awake as Pippy sees what almost looks like two tiny moons in the darkness of this den that were eyes. Staying still, he was tempted to lift his wing and wave to try and say hello to be polite, but he doesn't budge although his whole form was trembling a lot. N-Nice gargantuan Gembound...

Pippy, however, couldn't help but let out a legitimate loud yelp of fear when he heard them hissed at him. They're scary, really scary. He quickly backs away, not running right away, is it a Greater or Lesser?

"S-Sorry-!" he managed to squeak out, that hiss alone from this giant one was enough to overwhelm the tiny bat as he scoots back if they don't respond kindly to his apology he's out of here, whimpering a little.
