ORIGIN

SO I DECIDED i want to have a female character. Only, I planned her with a specific behavior in mind - she uses others in order to survive/get by then tosses them when they are no longer useful. She is a naturally sweet girl, and at first taking advantage of others tears her up inside - but she eventually becomes numb to the pain of her own betrayal, in turn losing all empathy and sympathy for others. Except she still pretends to be sweet and loving; it's all a guise for her true intentions. (Chelsea may recognize this as the classic Odessa approach ;P). tl;dr beautiful parasitic dame that feels so bad for her actions that eventually she stops feeling anything at all

She's going to be a borzoi; i've picked this beautiful dog to be her since i adore the freckling and curly fur! She's supposed to be slender and elegant and a total babe. I don't have a name for her yet.

Her element is going to be Prokaryote, and I've come up with this idea:

Borzoi girl emerges extremely sick and blind, her own immune system somehow compromised by her element/by damage to her chrysalis/stone/idk. First thing, she latches onto a "host" and infects them with bacteria via Micro Cloud. Until she can learn High Intensity spells, she'll just use White Sense to detect her host's bacteria so she can use her host as a guide, and Fauna Cleanse to keep herself healthy. Eventually, she'll learn Many Eyes - she can use this to coalesce the senses of her host's bacteria into vision, effectively seeing through her host's eyes. She'll also learn Hunger, which she'll use to feed off the bacteria in her host, basically stealing her host's health to make her healthier. Undoubtedly, these will deteriorate the health of her host. Borzoi girl will then have to abandon her host so she can move on to a healthier one.

Volunteers!
I'd like for some volunteers to be her host(s)! The host's don't have to die - in fact, the first few that she uses will most likely survive. When she gets older and more powerful its possible that she could completely leech the life from her hosts, but that won't be for a long time. For now, I'd really like to find 1 character that will find her emerging and basically take her under their wing, so she can use Micro Cloud on them to follow them around. She'll eventually cause their health to deteriorate and have to move on, so I'd like to find several volunteers to be her hosts in the future :D

ALSO, I was thinking, she could spawn from Deus' stone - diamond is TOTALLY borzoi girl's aesthetic - but that would require somebody to brave the yeti to rescue the stone and then somehow have magic imbued in it (not use Give Life - maybe it just respawns on its own, since it may still be magically imbued)?? Java opinion?? Alternatively, she could spawn from somebody's shattered chrysalis shard.

Definitely, he would be willing to be a host because although he himself enjoys the suffering of others, he'd be intrigued by her only form of navigation being that of the bacteria which he can't quite understand himself. He'd probably use his own Prokaryotic magic in order to keep himself healthy if she wishes to feed off him after gaining hunger, but he'd have no issue being a host (possibly even for more dramaz later if she becomes stronger in magic than he is/begins to trump his own prokaryotic magic?). And he'd probably start feeling affection for her (but we'll cross that bridge if we get to it aye? xD)

Since X is also his little slavey, X would be very happy to have a friend x3 even if he doesn't talk so I have no idea how she'd know he was there and how they'd communicate other than touch but THEY'D FIGURE IT OUT I'M SURE.

Yess Louie yesss :D Maybe Louie could be the one to find her? I mean, first off, I'd really like for her to cause the deterioration of her host's health because thats what will lead her to becoming numb towards the feelings of others in the future. Maybe he could be the one to find her/care for her when she's young, but since the whole "feeding off another Gembound" thing would be new to them both, she depletes his health a little? That'll cause her to be like "omg Louie im hurting you im sorry!!" then she'd probably abandon him and The Merrymen for a little while, find a few new hosts, drain their health, then maybe return to The Merrymen after she gets the hang of her magic?? Just an idea :P

Fisher would put up with her for a little while because Deus (sobsob) but Fisher also is a Free Dude who doesn't like leeches man so he'd shake her off as soon as he could tbh

Bevy might be a good host for a while, she's super friendly and compassionate and trusting, and probably would take any amount of punishment with a smile if it meant helping out a fellow gembound. I think it might be fun for Maji this way too-- if Bevy goes missing for a while or ends up getting super sick from being a host then it could be interesting seeing what Cancer and co do :3

Same thing for Wynry, but I think Vazi might object lmao

Nemesis is super tough and also part of the Merrymen so maybe when the little parasite comes back 'home' Nem can help her out, since she'll have the fortitude to deal with the side effects most likely. Alternatively: Nem gets super mad at her for hurting Louie and tries to keep her from ever returning lmao

Black is entirely loyal and obedient, a mindless guardian, so if she were to latch on him he wouldn't mind being used even if he knew. Which he's really too dumb, at the moment, to realize. I'm also super active, and would love more threads, so if at any point she'd like to feel horrible about abusing another dog who ALLOWS her to abuse him, to the point where he'd try to guide her even while collapsing from weakness, just poke me :)

Shaf - AW BEVYYYY! I'd really love for that to happen, maybe after she uses Louie as a host for the first time, my girl runs off to Maji and then Bevy takes her under her wing (lol)? also, yes keep referring to her as the parasite, that is her intended designation >:)

Dark - YES I LOVE THAT i can totally see her depending on black and maybe getting attached to him since they're both dogs :D possibly after Bevy? then my borzoi girl could join up with Black, and maybe they could forge a really close friendship and then accidentally depleting his health could be one of the major tipping points towards her becoming the Ultimate Parasite Villain.

I just wanna run it past Azooka first to see if they're down with Louie being her first host, then her running away from the Merrymen after (then returning when she's aged and gotten a little more powerful) but can I say after Louie, she'll go to Bevy/Maji, then to Black?

Louie is down with that! He'd probably feel betrayed once she's left him because he would've formed an attachment with her which would lead to him developing bitter feelings. But yes I am down with all that c:
