Pippy tried to show he was OK with a cheerful smile towards Oliver; he's OK no need to be worried, big sweet Gembound sure get often concerned too it seems although it's understandable to Pippy.

"Oh! Oh, I never thought of that thank, you Oliver," He didn't think about that, maybe he could find a flat stone to use to cover the hole and block out the light like a door? But will rock like that even fit inside not to add it'll be risky to have it covering the hole when he leaves the den, he'll need some flat material that'll block light out while being very flexible, a lot more flexible than rock. But what could sort of stuff could fit those requirements? It'll be something he'll need to think about as the idea of getting hurt in general scares the tiny bat.

He did hope that Oliver says 'yes' to this, but he'll understand if they can't, he does ken that the size comparison is a thing to consider; Pippy himself does wonder if it is possible to get given a gentle & harmless sort of hug from a big Gembound like Oliver? Their neck? Or with their wing-arms maybe?

"Oh thank you, Oliver. I try to be careful myself..." Pippy responds relatively softly; he indeed will, he understands why Oliver's a little uneasy about this.

Oliver peered down, watching. Gingerly he moved one paw to "hug" the tiny bat as best he could. He seemed to grasp, too, what Pippy was thinking about; he glanced at the tiny den mouth, considering.

"If you can grow plants, maybe--you can put some at the entrance? Then you can get in and out without anyone seeing light," he offered quietly.

He waited, for Pippy to hug back, or not, before quietly turning. "I'll go now, and make some more lights. There's a lot left to do but I hope you stay safe and happy, okay?" Oliver murmured this gently, backing up; he made an awkward sort of bow, at first, and took a minute to glance over Pippy and the den--ensuring all was well--before turning to make his way off into the darkness.

There were lights to make, after all.

Pippy has her wings out to be able to hug back when Oliver does, and soon she found herself getting hugged by Oliver's paw which was a bit of an awkward one, but Pippy didn't realise that and if she did she wouldn't care; she is getting a hug! She smiled which got wider with each second she was just so happy, already her whole day has brightened entirely now as she leans in a little, her face now snuggling into Oliver's coat while wrapping her wings around Oliver to return the hug.

"Thanks Oliver, it means a lot... You're the best you know." Pippy's voice was a little muffled though but still could be heard. But her head shot up to look at them like she had been given such a genius idea when Oliver suggested growing plants by the entrance to veil it.

"I... I never thought of that oh thank you!" She hugged them even tighter now.

Although Pippy did not want to let go of Oliver when the hug seemed done she did manage to let go of them though she didn't want to get in the way of their quest of making more lights to make things less scary looking. She did smile and nod at them when they said their wishes for her to be safe and happy. She gave another nod to them with her bow when Oliver made one too before they proceeded to set off which is when she started to wave with one of her wings.

"Bye Oliver. Hope you are safe and happy too!" She did, to her, it'd be such a crime for a sweet Gembound such as them to not be, she kept on waving until the darkness made her see them no more. With that, she withdraws back into her den, while she is considering their suggestion to grow plants Pippy wants to sleep for a little first. She has hardly slept in her shelter because the darkness made her unable to get comfortable enough to be able to do so, but with this light, it was quick for sleep to take her as she dozed off.
