Deep within a chrysalis , not from the one that had just hatched was a spiky little mammal called a porcupine. It's name was Chacha. Her quills were still soft, being too young for them to harden yet. Her eyes opened slowly and she blinked a few times. Her blue eyes stared at a small crack, she had grown too big for her chrysalis. She pushed against it more and more until the crack grew bigger and she fell out. She lifted her head slowly and looked around, sniffing the air and standing up on her feet. She had been born. Her ears twitched as they met the sound of nothingness. Her blue eyes looked around, until she spotted another creature. Chacha gave a small smile and began to walk over, though she stopped when she heard the soft drumming of her feet pressing against the ground. She tapped her feet to the ground a few times, and she didn't know why, but she seemed to have a natural beat, like she was born to make sound. Her smile widened and she lifted her head up high.
"OH OH OH, Woke up today, with new feelings I can not describe! OH OH OH when I hear that beat, the rhytem of the cave starts calling me. GOOD MORNING NEW FRIEND! Every sound is like a symphony. GOOD MORNING NEW FRIEND! OH OH OH look at my energy, who else's can compare with mine today? OH OH OH, the rats in the cave seem to dance at my feet, they seem to be saying 'Chacha it's up to you!' GOOD MORNING NEW FRIEND! OH OH OH, GOOD MORNING NEW FRIEND! I know every step, I know every beat, when I start to dance, I'm a star! OH OH OH, something inside me makes me move, it's like a drummer inside my heart! GOOD MORNING, GOOD MORNING!"
Chacha stopped in front of the creature and spun around before stopping and staring at it with her big blue eyes. She didn't know why, but she just felt this feeling in her that she couldn't resist, this pull. She stared at her new friend, waiting for some sort of reaction.
