"Wasn't funny at all," this Gembound's sense of humour is messed up if they thought it was funny for Pippy to cower before them. She didn't want to get them upset with her, but they upset her, and she couldn't help but have a sour attitude with them, frowning a little at them.

"O-Oh well if you think it's cool... sure? And I guess so?" Pippy was uncertain how she was supposed to answer them when they asked anything involved them would be 'cool', this Gembound didn't seem pleasant after all but she perhaps it's a stretch anything they do is not 'cool' even if they don't seem too friendly.

This Eridanus with this description it seems like a better version of Cetus, although she worries over how there are lots of plants which may mean lots of green which was the colour that glowing-flying-thing had. Lots of them may live in this Eridanus which made Pippy shudder at the thought of a swarm of those scary things all in one place waiting to get her. So Pippy is uncertain if she'll visit not until she learns if there's an abundance of those Gembound in Eridanus or not.

"Ah, yeah it is! N-Neat right?" Pippy somewhere regrets asking them this question, regrets asking a question in fact.

"O-Oh hi, Envy!" Pippy was curious if there is a meaning behind such a name; was it supposed to mean they are to be envied or something? If how they are acting is to go by perhaps it is, after all, if a Gembound believes anything they do is considered a fantastic thing even breathing; yeah Envy here may be under a belief they should be 'envied' for being Envy. Or are they jealous themselves or something? Maybe, but Pippy more believes Envy here named themselves 'Envy' because they should be well... envied. Regardless, Pippy was silent now, having a difficult time choosing what to put in her words now to continue this chat.

@Envy

Pippy narrowed her eyes back at Envy, forming a sharp glare at them, not amused at how hilarious they found Pippy getting scared at them. To her it wasn't funny at all, she wouldn't find it funny if Envy here was afraid of her, she would try her best to make sure they understand she won't harm them, not do things with the full intention to scare her and laugh at it.

"I will suit myself. I guess each to their own..." Pippy supposes anyway, still doesn't make Pippy less offended even if it is each to their own.

Still, despite how offended Pippy is, she is glad they still are not angry at her despite her current attitude, her air of offence would disappear in an instant with her fear soaring if Envy here did get upset at Pippy. Even so, as much as Pippy doesn't want to get Envy angry at her, her unsure answer was enough to make Envy's confidence surge a little too well. Perhaps Pippy should have answered with something more specific, something a little harsh maybe; no, Pippy doubts she'll have enough guts even to attempt it.

Uncertainty rose in Pippy's confidence again, unsure on how to respond to Envy's reluctant agreement on whether or not her name and its connection to her Gem is neat, she, however, brushes it off, for things are already awkward here.

Pippy herself is having issues trusting Envy here; for they haven't been acting, well, compassionate in comparison to other Gembound she has met before. Envy not to add is giving Pippy some negative vibe like they have quite a bad bone in them although maybe Pippy believes all this because they managed to offend her.

Perhaps she should actually give them a chance.

"U-Uhh, yeah! Hi! ...Again," Pippy tried her best not to squirm as stopped glaring at them, returning to a neutral expression, this was so discomforting for her right now on how awkward all this is.


@Envy

It shall take a lot to make Pippy genuinely snap, as much as she would want to call Envy out, Pippy is aware she is most likely weaker than them. Especially regarding size, as while Envy indeed isn't too massive, they are large enough to be able to pin her with ease, if she were to aggravate them by accident. Pippy refuses to take any chances here, besides Pippy with her more quiet nature, not helping on how her voice is relatively little too, so the tiny bat has some honest doubts she'll be good with verbal conflicts, or any battles in all honesty. Still, Pippy certainly wasn't amused at Envy's 'games' here, mainly since they were at her expense it appears.

It was perhaps a good thing for Envy their thoughts weren't mentioned out loud, while Pippy again won't try to act out of line and call them out as it may provoke them into taking some extreme actions, she may try and be sneaky to ensure they never met again. As she too while may be to some extent believe she be acting a little harsh and willing to give Envy a chance she doesn't in any slightest way view them as a friend either, friends don't laugh at ones in her eyes understandable fear.

Pippy was a little puzzled on Envy's expression, it seemed a little sweet, but it also made her from reflex shudder which made her glare she had before fade away more. Pippy once again shuddered and resisted her urge to recoil back when Envy smiled at her with those teeth, not liking how sharp they appear to be and caked in some unnatural substance; it was a creepy smile. So Pippy was glad when they stopped smiling in such a way, and she relaxed her stance a bit when they directed their sight at something, something who's not Pippy, so she no longer was compelled to stay completely still, something in her head telling her any twitch could provoke Envy. Short-lived her ease was, and she went back to ensuring no muscles budged when Envy's eyes were on Pippy again.

"U-Uhmmm... Ummm y-y-yes! I-I-I-I-I c-ca-ca-can! S-Su-Sure n-n-no p-prob-problem! S-Sorry... Uhhhhh... Y-You ha-ha-have r-really n-nice e-eyes!" Oh geez, they're mad at her, aren't they? Not good, oh no, she nods at Envy in such a fast manner when responding to them. Please don't hurt her.
