For a while young Krakarak had been stretching his wings, attempting to get better at flying. He'd been able to glide, yes, but not fly. He wanted to be like his friend Aza'zel! He wanted to soar throughout the tunnels on huge wings stretched wide! Wasn't he capable of doing so, too? Or was he doomed to walk and hop everywhere he went? Today was the day he'd test this theory.
He attempted to try his endeavor within the tunnel between Polaris and Orion. It was narrow but there were rocks that he could hop across. Also with the lights above he could use those as a goal point and attempt to land on the line connecting them. It was a foolproof plan.
So the young raven sat on a rock towards the entrance of Polaris as he stared upwards at the line. A determined expression was on his face as he stared upwards and his wings slowly raised.
"Krakaw! Krakaw! You can do it..." He said to himself.
"You are mighty raven! You are KRAKARAK!" When he yelled "Krakarak" he leaped from his perch and flapped his wings vigorously as he'd seen his vulture friend do many times.
To his surprise he managed to lift into the air! He was a little unsteady at first but within moments he made it to his destination. Happily he let out a loud racous "Caw" and clacked his beak together afterwards in complete pleasure. He was the best flier ever! Just wait until he told Aza what he did! His friend would be so proud!
"KAW KAW KAW!" He yelled for no other reason that happiness and the want to hear his own voice.

OOC: Crappy post is crappy. >.<
When Majesty stepped into Tunnel N, he almost wished he had decided to place his pack here instead. The air smelled sweet, and fresh green moss grew along the walls. The soil was soft on his paw-pads and he felt quite at ease. He let out a smile, taking the tunnel slowly so that he could experience everything within. He’d have to bring Pretty here one day. She would love a place like this. He still thought it best to stay away from Polaris proper, though. No need to disturb the Golems within. They frightened him, and he didn’t think there was anything wrong in admitting that.
Majesty sucked in a breath when he heard the lard loud, sharp sound of cawing up ahead. It didn’t scare him so much as make him irresistibly curious to know who or what was ahead of him. The sound echoed and bounced all over the walls, and suddenly the chocolate wolf was a puppy in his head again. He took off down the tunnel at a dead run, barking all the while in excitement. Who was it? Who was it? Could they be friends? What sort of animal made a noise like that?
But then at the last second, as he entered the room, he came back to his senses a little, and slid across the mossy floor to a halt. He caught his breath, shaking his head at his actions. What he had just done had not been a very Kingly thing to do… but who cares? It was alright to have a little fun every now and then! He looked up at the bird on the string of lights, smiling. “Hello!”
His lovely cawing... His poor lovely cawing was interrupted by the most horrible sound! Barking! He knew what barking was because of his last encounter with a canine, a large black canine that had ranted and raved about him. To be fair, he'd thrown rocks at the wolf but still. To him the rock-throwing had been hilarious! Just because the wolf hadn't agreed didn't mean she had to get angry. Sometimes you had to be the subject of someone else's joke.
When the other creature burst into the tunnel Krakarak did nothing at first. He simply glared at the tunnel entrance and when this creature --a wolf too, go figure-- came in he still glared. He only ceased glaring when the other skidded to a halt. Finally. It must have regained its senses, what little senses it had. He couldn't blame the creature though, not everyone was blessed with the intelligence of a bird.
"Hello!" Krakarak's head tilted to the side as he studied the chocolate-brown canine. It wasn't all that interesting on its own but that gem at its chest. That was certainly pretty. He let out a pleased little croak as he unabashedly studied it before replying.
"Hello..." Not a very elaborate response but he wasn't finished looking at the shiny.
He flared his wings, flapped them a few times then glided forwards to a rock closer to the wolf where he could get an even better look. It was a rock that was rather still and provided him with some amount of protection if things went sour but it was several feet closer.
"Krak Krak! You has pretty shiny." The bird almost sounded as if he wouldn't mind taking the stone for himself but he knew that was impossible so finally he brought his eyes away from the amber and met the wolf's gaze.
"Who you?" His head tilted to the side questioningly.

Majesty instantly got the feeling that he had pissed the bird off – probably with all of his stupid barking. Honestly, he couldn’t blame the winged Gembound. He’d been acting like an idiot, and was rather unsure why. It was like someone else was controlling his actions sometimes. (Because breaking the fourth wall is cool). He shook off that feeling, claiming it silly, and stepped forward a little more to study the black bird. A… a raven. That’s what it was, yes. He didn’t know he knew, but he knew. And this same sense told him the raven was annoyed with him.
The chocolate wolf ducked his head in embarrassment, but quickly looked up again when he heard wing-flaps that were getting closer to him. The bird landed on a rock a few feet away, leaning forward to… what? Majesty was confused for a moment, but then he noticed the bird studying his Stone. He wondered briefly why it was that other Gembound always seemed obsessed with the Stones on their bodies, but he ignored the nagging question for now, listening to what the raven had to say. He commented on Maj’s ‘pretty shiny,’ then asked him who he was, looking at him closely.
He cleared his throat. “I am Majesty, leader of THE Pack, and wielder of the Light.” The second the words came out of his mouth, they sounded stupid, but he decided to roll with it. “Would you like to see my Magic?” Now he was sounding pretentious. Oh, well…
Leader of THE Pack? He'd never heard of such a thing. Must be new but either way he didn't particularly care. It was another group that he didn't care to join. He already had his allegiances. Though that second bit "wielder of light" caught his attention. What did that mean? Krakarak knew about magic, he hadn't seen every bit of it in the caves yet but he'd seen a few spells. However, light spells were foreign to him, he knew not what they could do or that they even existed until now.
Krakarak didn't think his self-proclaimed title sounded stupid. It just intrigued him, he wanted to know more. What could this light wolf do exactly?
"Majesty of THE Pack," He liked yelling out "THE" like that. It made him able to use his annoying voice to its full potential. If there was one thing that separated this group from others it was that one fact of being able to yell when it was said. Good good...
"I am Krakarak of The Bonebound." A smiled curved at the edges of his beak as he nodded his head up and down.
"I would love to see your magick! Krak Krak!" Pretentious or not Krakarak was always interested in what he could learn or gain from others.
His head lowered to preen the feathers on his breast briefly before his attention once again was turned to the canine. What sort of show was he about to see? Perhaps if it was something to his liking then he could remember and maybe learn it later. Magick was for everyone's enjoyment, not just for one.

Majesty nodded at Krakarak’s consent to showing off his magic. He looked around, trying to decide which spell to attempt, then he noticed a pebble beside his front left paw, and smiled. That would do nicely. He pushed the pebble between his front paws and then stared at it for a moment or two, willing it to glow – and glow it did! He let out a breath, glad that it had worked. The little grey pebble was a little prettier now, covered in a fine layer of golden light. “There,” he said, pushing it closer to Krak so the raven could see it for himself. “That’s the sort of thing that I can do.”
The raven waited patiently as the wolf looked around for something. He finally came up with a pebble? Hmm, he wondered what he would do with that? The wolf put it between his paws and then it started to glow! A surprised caw came from the raven's beak as he saw for his very own eyes what glow magic was. He loved it! He wanted that sort of magic for himself. Imagine all of the things he could make glow back at his home? He'd turn everything beautiful and shiny! He could make anything a shiny! The sky would be the limit!
The raven hopped from foot to foot in excited before gliding off of the rock he sat on and picked the stone up with one of his feet. He marveled at it up close, eyes glinting greedily in the glow that the pebble cast.
"Preeeettttyyy..." He croaked in awe. He pecked at it with his beak before finally being able to pull his gaze back up to the wolf.
"Amazing power, Majesty! Krak Krak! Krakarak would give anything to be able to make things glow. Could make everything a shiny!" He nodded his head vigorously before turned back to the rock clutched in his talons. He ogled over it more and pecked some more, completely absorbed in its beauty.

Majesty smiled in delight at the birb’s bird’s obvious joy. He ducked his head a little when the raven told him he had “amazing power.” Even a King-in-the-Making could feel humbled sometimes. “You can keep that pebble if it pleases you so much,” he said, voice a bit gravely from embarrassment. “I can do more than make other things Glow. I can make myself Glow, too. Would you like to see?” But even as he asked the bird’s permission, his Glow took over of its own accord. Apparently, he was having a good day magic-wise. If only he knew that would later come back to bite him in the behind…
He stood still, head raised a little proudly, and it was here that he looked his most Kingly so far. His tail raised as well, to show that he was feeling pretty good about the world, and his Glow made his chocolate-brown fur have a golden sprinkling throughout. He was a magnificent, majestic creature in that moment, his namesake shining through like a star. And he felt it, too, though he still tried to look a little humble through it all. Maybe Krakarak would be so impressed he would join his pack? But that was definitely a long shot. And Majesty wouldn’t be able to do anymore magic for the day. It was tiring him out already.
The bird clacked his beak with pleasure. Keep it? Why he would love to keep it and so he would! It was his own personal treasure! Better than all the other things he'd collected thus far.
"Krak Krak! Yes! Yes, Krak love to see!" Even as he spoke the wolf began to glow, turning himself into a shiny bauble. The bird's eyes lit with joy as he stared as the wolf. Amazing!
"You not normal wolf! You Glow Wolf! Majesty the Amazing Glow-Wolf!" The bird nodded his head in approval. He decided he liked glow-wolves very much!
The wolf stood in a pose that even Krakarak couldn't help but admire as he looked up at him.
"Any other powers, Glow-Wolf? Krakarak love to see them all!" Truly he would! These light powers were certainly amazing. If he could ever get his talons on a few of the powers then it would make him truly happy. Imagine what Aza'zel would say if Krakarak could make himself glow or turn a few bones glow-y to match the one he already had in his den? He bet that the vulture would like it very much. Krak would like it very much if he could turn one of his gemstones to a glowing consistency. Yes... He would very much like to do that one day.

Majesty was feeling pretty pleased with himself, although at the same time, he didn’t necessarily want other Gembound to worship him or anything like that. He gave a smile as his Glow faded, feeling suddenly very tired. He lay down, trying to catch his breath after all that Magic usage in one go. “Yes, I have one other power,” he said. “I can make myself dark, too. Though I’m too tired to do it now. Sorry.” He placed his head on his paws, feeling his eyelids droop. “I’m afraid I won’t be very good company now. I may need a nap. You can go if you want, or stay. It doesn’t matter to me.”
He could feel himself drifting off, and wondered vaguely if he would have any dreams. He rather liked dreaming. It gave him an interesting reason to go to sleep at night. His mind began to wander… and he found Krakarak was becoming part of the beginning of his dream. His brain was beginning to function differently, as it does when one is drifting off. He just hoped the bird would be nice and stay quiet if he decided to stick around. With a yawn, he closed his eyes and fell asleep…
