Reseda had watched with cold eyes as the goose was festroyed by the deep one. What was it? The loud one? Or the blooded one? She decided to hold off judgement for now. Perhaps they would meet properly some day. And perhaps she would show it her own strength as well.

As the goose fled, she smirked. A coward and a fool. The deep one was too powerful for a mere bird to defeat. She was wiser then it - she would not dare to challenge the deep one. She knew better then that. For now, there was no power that could consume it. D'rkness flooded in her stomach at the thought of her being that power, the power that would one day surpass the master. Ah, a master. Perhaps the deep one would appreciate that name.

When the deep one called out, her eyes flashed as she tried to activate the magic that it had taught her. But it did not come. Perhaps there was too much residual energy in the air. Perhaps it just didn't want to work.

So she simply walked from the shadows of the pile of bones and stalked to the deep one's side. She watched the fleeing form of the bird and, without glancing away, whispered quietly, "Master, why did you not kill the fool?"

Blackberry looked back at the calling words. She scowled as the wolf howled, proclaiming his victory. Oh, she would be back. And the wolf would tie the day he ever dared to defeat her.

She was alone now. Her own ally had betrayed her. He was gone, he had promised to stay with her but he was no longer around. She was furious at this turn of events and walked away, her entire body hurting, a plot of revenge forming in her mind. She would show them all, she would destroy them all. They would regret crossing her.

Hear my honk.
Why are you listening to my thoughts? Get out of my head!

Astaroth looked to the side at the komodo, smiling and laughing a bit as they called him master. Yes, he liked that, he liked that a lot, and it seemed fitting, as she seemed to be his apprentice. "Killing is not always the best option. I have killed, and yes it is fun, but you want to leave most alive if you know they won't be a threat in the future, she will tell her tale, and my name will be heard over and again. and she is too blinded by anger in her pain. Remember, pain leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hatred leads to darkness. We live in perpetual darkness, but we cannot let it consume us. You will see my young padawan, in timeyou will learn to tell."
"Speaking."
Thoughts.

Reseda nodded slowly, watching as the goose disappeared over a hill of bones. Perhaps it made sense. If she let her enemies live then they would live to spread the fear. If they were killed, then they would have no voice to speak of what had happened to them. Of course, Reseda wouldn't have hesitated to kill the goose had she been in the deep one's place. She had no need of it. But perhaps the other creatures around would be of use to her. Perhaps she should slow down and think.

She turned to look at the wolf. "Yes, I understand. What are you going to do now, master?"
