ORIGIN - I'm scared and alone

Look at the poor little baby. So scared,
so frightened, so small. Barely a flea, barely a nuisance.

The other three voices created a sudden wall between Crack and the control of the body, Rusty letting out a growl while Salvation hissed. Caliante stayed silent for the little bat's sake, but a flash of worry crossed her face. If Crack decided to take control, she had learned that little could stop it. It seemed to take it so easily.

But the fourth voice made no motion to take control, merely settling back and continuing to watch with twisted amusement.

I'm sorry, Caliante, you talk to him. We'll make sure Crack doesn't try anything.

Caliante didn't say anything, but sent a silent thank you towards the two in the back of her mind. She would rather converse with the little bat without having to worry with the darkest of the four voices hanging over her shoulder, desperate to take control and cause chaos.

"I'm so sorry for all the confusion," she began. "We can be a bit of a headache for a lot of people. Including myself." Fear laced her voice as a jolt of terror shot through her. She could feel Crack sending its dark tendrils of thought around her mind. Rusty and Salvation held the rest of it at bay, but she knew that it was enjoying toying with her, making her fear its control and strength and for the little bat that would suffer should it try to force its way forward.

But she had to keep calm. "W-well, I don't think I got your name yet." She took a deep breath to steady herself, but her heart was only half in her conversation. This was so difficult, trying to focus on two very important things at once.

Silence continues as Pippy also remained silent; tiny bat still has been unable to get her voice to work for her again and so with Caliante silent too, sounds such as running water and even a gentle breeze become more prominent to one's ears. Pippy did cock her head at Caliante with her ears twitching like she was trying to question them when Caliante seemed concerned for a brief moment.

Is something wrong?

Pippy is entirely oblivious to the internal struggle currently happening within this other bat, but she waits things out, waits for Caliante to say any words first and if her voice isn't back when Caliante speaks to Pippy she intends to respond with gestures and expressions.

By the time Caliante talks, Pippy still couldn't find her voice, so she smiles at them and pats their muzzle with her wing a little more as a way to say they don't have to be sorry when they apologised, even if they don't understand at least it'll show she's OK. Pippy got a little concerned again about how scared Caliante sounded; she doesn't try to hide her concern either it was blatant in Pippy's expression, filled with worry. Pippy's still unaware what's happening, all she understands that's even related to the current tirade happening without her knowledge is there was one more name Salvation mentioned she hadn't met yet.

Oh? Pippy was sure she said it before? But maybe since it was when this other bat was 'Salvation', it could be a reason why Caliante hasn't caught her name.

"P-Pip... Pip-ppy," she had to force her voice to return to her but Caliante asked for her name and so she will give it even if it was hard to understand from how difficult it is to speak currently.
