Alexi grinned. Tuk was really nice, almost too nice. Maybe he was trying to trick her? Or what if he thought she was so stupid that he felt bad for her? Oh no, he hated her, he hated her, he hated her! He was confused by her, he was nervous around her. Whimpering quietly and flattening her ears, she turned.
"I should go now," Alexi said quietly, trotting off. Nothing more, nothing less. She couldn't do this. Other Gembounds would hate her. Small tears rolled down her cheeks as she left behind someone who could have been a friend.
