For a time, Kera only watched. Her words of the stone had been entirely ignored and the subject-- or at least, what remained of it --lingered on Senka and the eyes. She frowned faintly, even when Giggle turned and began to walk out.

She only pushed herself up with alarm when Giggle gave an order to Omen.

"Giggle!" Kera called out, limping after the hyena with wide eyes. She didn't know what Giggle would do but she was fairly sure that Giggle didn't have any plans to hold a civil conversation with Senka. "Where are you going? What will you do?"

What could she do? Kera knew very little of the situation but she knew that Giggle likely wouldn't be able to do much to Senka-- not if the naked-dark-cat could just whisk her away into a place of darkness again. Perhaps she should have attacked the naked cat while she could, in Polaris.

She had never seen Giggle fight, either-- she had seen her kill rats, but she wasn't sure if she could fight another sentient being that could talk and feel and fight back. Kera knew, first-hand, that killing another thing was unpleasant and generally left a horrible feeling inside one's gut.

"You shouldn't go alone," she blurted out half-abruptly, limping next to the hyena. She shouldn't be going at all, in Kera's mind. "What if you get hurt, or die, or the lights turn off again?"

@Giggle

Giggle let out a shrill, manic cackle, her fur stood on end, at Kera's words. It wasn't a sound of amusement, but of madness, and she followed it up rapidfire with words that, like her thoughts, tumbled over one another.

At no point did she stop her swift lope out of Canis.

"I go, I must go, have to go, saw it in the bone and in my heart and they are eyes, wolf," she insisted, fixing Kera with a brief but madly-intense gaze. "Come with me if you want, come with me if you run, run with me if you come. I will bring death and fungus and Omen and light and you can bring light, too."

She didn't speak further--just quickened her pace until she was running at a lolloping, crooked gallop--straight out of Canis, and beyond.

ROLL THE BONES

exit Giggle ; @Kera

The wolf grimaced. She did not particularly feel like spending time in darkness herself, and she didn't know how, exactly, she'd bring light if Giggle was going to get stuck again. Would the Caller somehow help? With Kera's track records of birds, she was fairly sure that Omen would somehow try to lodge Giggle back into the void.

She sped up as Giggle did, swearing. She wouldn't leave the hyena to do... whatever it is she planned to do. Not alone, and certainly not alone with Omen. Kera didn't like the thought of having to kill another sentient being, but if the bones had said that's what would happen, maybe it was inevitable.

Kera did not know.

She only ran alongside Giggle.
