Kin-Kin grinned brightly, her fur shimmering with glee. "You too, kid!" kin-kin laughed wholeheartedly. "You're gonna need a lot of it, if you want to stand a chance against yours truly."
She grinned as the little bird looked around at the track markers she'd made previously. "Track markers," she explained briskly. "For the obstacle course. But that should be enough for now."She swished her tail beneath the cloak, adjusting it. She looked around, her ears twitching. if she remembered rightly, one was allowed to use environmental elements in their routine. She wondered if that included gems? Kin-Kin knew that she needed to practice, or adapt her routine if she were to win.
She breathed out through her nose, the glow around her fading from her fur and into her paws.
Once again the ground at her paws crackled as it reformed, sending a thrill through her fur. Before her eyes the ground sank into a hollow, and left another small, white gem sitting at her paws.
