Red listened as Asimona explained what her spells felt like. It made sense to her that each spell would feel different. After all, she and the dragon seemed to have very different kinds of spells. It would probably make less sense if their spells felt similar. She nodded as she continued to listen, watching intently at the new Magic that Asimona cast. She hoped she’d have all different kinds of spells one day, and she already had subconscious plans to learn every spell she could.

Soon, though, the coywolf felt sleepy. Her first day of life had been incredibly tiring, what with learning to stand, walk, talk, and do Magic all within the first hour or so. She wanted to keep listening to Asimona, but soon her eyelids were drooping. She lay down just to be more comfortable, telling herself to keep listening to the dragon, but soon… Zzz…

Red was snoring! She’d fallen asleep after so much excitement, and she was now dreaming of casting big, crazy spells…

[Exit Red]

@Asimona

As Asimona spoke about her own magic and how it felt, she noticed that Red had gone quiet and she stopped herself and looked down. The coywolf had fallen fast asleep. She smiled fondly. They had had so much excitement on their first day of life. It was no wonder they were exhausted. Sleep, my friend. You have your whole life ahead of you.
She stood and moved herself so that she was standing over the canine and settled down next to her. She raised her head and watched carefully, protecting the young gem as she slept peacefully under the stars of Polaris.

notes: i guess we could just assume, then, that Asimona left the next day and let Red explore the world on her own
