ORIGIN

Didn't work out as planned in the competition, such a fickle thing Magick is. Rinaotei didn't mind an inordinate amount, well she doesn't have a sense of being let down or upset. In fact, she was tempted to burst out in hearty laughter, more categorically at herself from how she did; Rina failed to even bring her Magick out in the competition it was a little funny in a way. She remained in Polaris for a while longer; disconcertment hasn't taken her, so Rina will not care if another Gembound who may have witnessed her feat and endeavoured to mock her, thus nothing is obviating her from staying a while longer.

Rina may stop by and spectate The Obstacle Course to pass her time, it's a rare event after all and spectating something new may make this day a little more exciting for her. Rina has no intention spectating The Wrestling Competition though even if they aren't going out with authentic brutal violence, there is aggression in it which is enough to make it off-putting to Rina. How one's movement and intention is with such anger and brutality is a tad repugnant to Rina, and she can't avail but scoff at such a barbaric concept.

Ah but she isn't even planning to spectate The Wrestling Competition so she'll try and pay it no heed in her mind and go about her day. Mayhaps have a little respite somewhere here in Polaris afore going to where The Obstacle Course is taking place; it does seem a little too crowded currently for her liking so she'll wait until it's not as crowded to witness it herself. Yes, it'll be a decent idea for now.

Red was wondering what to do today. She had mastered standing, walking, talking, and was a still a little iffy on hunting. Perhaps she could practice that today, or maybe do some Magic practice. She only knew a few spells, but Asimona had told her that more seemed to come with practice. She was also hungry, so she figured the best use of her time would be to practice Magic and hunting at the same time. The good thing was that her Magic seemed to revolve around spells that would help her hunt. Still, one of the last times she had tried hunting, she’d ended up nearly biting the head off a very small Greater Gembound, so the thought of hunting still made her a little leery.

Unfortunately, the young coywolf was very aware that despite her misgivings, she needed to hunt in order to eat. She’d taken to eating fruits here and there, but it was not enough to properly rid herself of hunger. She needed meat whether she wanted to hunt for it or not. Sighing, she tapped into the Magic that lay at the base of her tail, calling forth her ability to feel-hear heartbeats. It came strongly this time and she did not have to concentrate long to sense the nearest heartbeat to her. This one, however, seemed relatively large, and something about it reminded her of her own heart…

Curious, she stood and began making her way in the direction of the heartbeat. Soon, she came across a strange creature. It looked like… a cross between herself and Asimona, but this creature’s fur was black. She watched it from afar for a moment, and then approached, wondering what sort of Gembound it would turn out to be. “Um… hey,” she said, giving a small smile.

Rinaotei, for now, has gone to lay on a rock afore peregrinating anywhere else in Polaris, a bubbling harmony filling her ears and head from a stream a little further away from her chosen reposing spot which avails her to relax even more. Rina was starkly oblivious to how one was heedfully listening to her heartbeats, albeit if she was vigilant it would admittedly be discomforting for her, with her being an eccentric stickler for guarding her privacy.

Another noise soon filled her ears; it was a lot subtler, it didn't drown out every other sound there is, still, it got her attention; claws rhythmically clattering against solid rock towards her, which can only mean whoever those claws belong to is approaching her. Rina shifts her head, sniffing the air askance; a scent which does smell familiar, well its general scent anyway which gives Rina an allusion as to what creature is suppositiously coming towards her direction. Another canid Gembound is within Rina's sight now, albeit they do appear to be a young one; what could they possibly want with Rina?

"Hello to you too," they don't seem to wish to cause trouble, so Rina greeted them with an inviting tone and her soft smile they did seem a little nervous anyway. So, she endeavoured her best to appear welcoming enough. Still again what could they possibly want?

Red sat down before the… flying… wolf… thing. She couldn’t help but let her eyes roam over the Gembound, wondering what it was. Somehow she had never questioned Asimona being a dragon. Perhaps it was the strange combination of fur and wings that threw her off. Feeling a little awkward, she asked, “What… what are you?” She meant it innocently, not intending to offend the other female, but some part of her cringed because she knew she was coming across as rude. But Red had an insatiable curiosity about life and she couldn’t help the question. She wanted to know everything about her world.

Suddenly realizing that she hadn’t even introduced herself yet, she quickly added, “S-sorry. My name’s Red. What’s your name?”

Not minding how they have sat so proximate to her, Rina only shifts herself a little to sanction them to have more space to sit on. Mayhaps she can avail them to relax more this way, albeit Rina did move a bit again when they stared at her persistently; like their eyes are analysing about every aspect about her physical form.

Oh, oh right, Rinaotei forgot for a brief moment how her current physical form is probably highly unwonted when it came to appearance, well Rina has come across Gembounds who were mayhaps more unique than her regarding one's physical appearance. But like she took note earlier this here wolf does appear to be young, so this might be their first encounter with an unorthodox Gembound such as herself.

"A reptilian wolf with wings," she answers in such frolicsome teasing, Rina even briefly checks her reflection in a puddle afore responding, acting like she had no clue what her appearance was hitherto all this, but she does. It appears teasing is how she's answering this particular question from now on as this isn't Rina's first time on answering this question in such a manner. In truth, though Rinaotei doesn't have the slightest idea as to what the official technical designation is for her current form to utilise as a simple classification. Her answer while in a teasing tone is about Rina's only speculation as to what she is albeit it sounds a little, sloppy when verbally expressed out loud if not utilised in a teasing manner.

"Good day Red, I am Rinaotei or Rina for short," her tone still relaxed, she hopes they'll ease up too as they seem perhaps a little uneasy.
