Blueberry had left Blackberry for a bit. Just a little while. He needed to practice doing magick, and with the pair's battles, he had little time to do anything but fight. Not that he minded. Fighting was what he lived for now. Fighting and Blackberry. Maybe that's why he felt guilty about leaving her for a while. But this was needed.

He needed to practice using his magick to be any use to anyone. So here he was, in the most magickal of the rooms in these caves, ready to improve his skills. First, Blue attempted to grow some vines from the ground. But he failed, because he needed this practice. That was okay though. Failing was just a chance for improvement next time. Failure was a mistake needed to learn.

Blue tried summon vines again, wanting them to grow. Needing them to grow. "Come one, I know you can do it! Grow, little guys!" He encouraged enthusiastically, showing a side of himself that he hid when Blackberry was mutilated by the wolf. Just thinking about that creautre made the moose's blood boil.

But he couldn't think about that right now. Positive feelings. That's what made plants grow. Blue encouraged them with all that he had, and it worked fabulously! Apparently, kind words and feelings made plants grow best. Now that he head vines, Blue nosed them to make sure they were healthy. They sure were. A small smile crawled onto Blueberry's face. He was improving. Or at least that's what he thought. Blue prepared for his next spell.

Blue smiled at the plants broadly. Now was time to try and get them to move. Wrap around his leg loosely, just to see if he could. Something small for now. "Hey little guys, I know you can do it. Just try your hardest for me, please? Wrap around my leg, please." Blue asked, his voice soft and kind.

And it worked again! In no time, the little vines slithered from their little pile and up Blueberry's leg. The moose's smile broadened. Practice was just what he needed. He'd be much better at his magick than before. He'd come back to Blackberry, and would have improved so much. She wouldn't mind that he left.
