After a very short nap, Cancer had taken some hours to explore Orion before finally looking around to find which tunnel he'd go through next. One smelt strongly of Pisces, so he marked it and noted with a pleased smile that he could visit that starry place anytime he pleased. Then, another tunnel was tempted, but immediately turned away. Nope. Smelled like death, and decay. Heck no. He marked it on the map, added a skull beside it and moved on. The third choice was an uneven, kinda lumpy place. It didn't smell bad. It didn't feel like death. He decided with interest that he'd try this one. He'd pause to mark its entrance on the stone slab before scooping it up into his horns and carrying on.
This place was very, very different from anything he'd ever seen before. Orion's ruins were one thing, possibly naturally occuring... but that possibility was swiftly diminished when he spotted the walls and floors of this particular tunnel- he'd marked it with the runic "J".
Pieces of armor and tools, pictures of creatures he'd never seen before, and weird faces staring down at him... this place was lived in. He noted with keen interest some of the markings on the walls resembled his own runic scratchings. Someone else had thought of the same idea- how neat! Then, his interest turned to the items tossed about and upon spotted a ruined helmet, an idea came to him. I could carry my tablet in something like that...
He then proceeded to waste a few hours, starting by fetching various parts and pieces from the floor and working them together, eventually forming a sort of carrying bag that he could fashion across his shoulders and chest. One side was big enough for the tablet, while the other had two half-sized pouches- all made from bits of torn or broken armor. It didn't look too nice, but it certainly wasn't bad looking, either. He gently placed the tablet in its carrying case, and then headed for the other end of the tunnel. He'd marked it on the tablet with many little scribbles akin to the markings on the walls, and a helmet crossed with a broken sword, as if explaining why this place was a point of interest. He felt sort of sad to leave the place of trinkets and tools, so grabbing a broken dagger, it's edge dull but point jagged and dangerous, the cub armed himself with the broken dagger in one of the smaller pouches, then set off into the next room.
