Time.
Great time. Gone. Wasted even.
Such a mistake to have let things fly past her slithering body. She has slept. Taken for granted no more, this time. Away yet here, her slumber a daze she sought to clarify. Where is Reseda? Never to be called a mother to the now larger Cháos. But indeed nonetheless, her mother. Or so assumed.
A fire that brewed in she that defied the chilling room of bones that appeared abandoned by the nom of the dragon. Was it right that Cháos get upset? That the whereabouts of Redesa go unknown because Cháos had slept? During Cháos's slumber beneath the many bones, a change took place within the snakelet. Transformation. Molted and rebirthed, her coat was less vibrant. It had pronounced black spots that covered her atop, while a slight gold decorated her belly. Her adult skin displayed.
Many times larger than what she had been and so much more heavier; muscles thickened and stronger than she could ever have guessed. Head humongous and eyes larger. A behemoth beauty.
But she seems indifferent. Angry perhaps. And her voice is then heard; a femininity with an unnatural lace to it. Cháos lifts above the pile of bones, taking perch on the throne like hill as her jowls part ways to scream a call to her dearest.. mama.
Things were different now. Reseda had done so much. She had traveled the caves, learned powerful magic, and, most importantly, begun the creation of the Sins. The Sins that would boost her to the power she so greedily desired. She had, perhaps, a Gluttony, Wrath, Envy, and, if all went well, Pride. Pride was off somewhere else, perhaps preparing for their journey to Polaris.
She was munching, as she always did, grinding her teeth on bones, cracking and snapping them beneath her powerful jaws. She did this whenever she could. There were not many free bones outside of Polaris.
But then, her keen hearing picked up something that she could barely believe possible. A voice, calling her name. She stopped munching instantly and dropped the bone. She immediately rose to her feet and headed towards the voice. She flicked her tongue and immediately picked up the scent as she got close. The green one, the one that proclaimed itself her 'child'.
She saw it as she got close and was mildly surprised at how big it had gotten. Much bigger then it had before when it would wind itself around her leg. She definitely would not want to be caught in those coils anymore.
She tilted her head.

@resedaIndigo tongue flickers, snitching instantly of those around. She smells a mammal? But Reseda is seen shorty after the perception of this. The scent seemed to linger around the komodo as it crept near. Cháos had displayed delicate jealousy over the dragon before. That one time, Reseda could tame the young serpents flaring wrath. But could she do it again?
Cháos breathes sniffing rapidly as assumptions made way. Has Reseda moved on? Perhaps replaced Cháos? Brows furrow, an expression of anger shown to Reseda. The snake resists the urge to hiss- learning the calming, unbothered energy of Reseda so well. But still, the seething heat of emotion was melting away at the core of Cháos.
Reseda speaks her dear name. This automatically calms Cháos, keeping her from hastily launching forward to attack. A fragile snake Cháos proved to be around mother. Reseda then speaks once more.
"I have been azleep. For how long, I doz not know." She breathes again. Sniffing."Who 'ze hell is drenched on you? One of thoze hairy bastards, mama?" She hisses her words, nearly spitting from afar. Cháos's orbs glare and reflect light that glows magenta pink. Glinting possible hostility. For now, distance is kept.
Reseda never could stay away from mammals, so Cháos thought. A slight racist Cháos grew to be. Envious of the hairy mammals- of their lively heat. Reseda belonged to her own kind, the reptilians."Where have you been."
Reseda could see the anger of the green one's face and was confused. What had she done to upset the snake this time? They were only just meeting after a couple of cycles apart.
But then its question made sense. Jealousy, envy. It had always been a very possessive creature, a trait that greatly annoyed Reseda, but she had put up with, only just so she could hear it say 'mama'. Even now, being almost fully grown, it still saw her as a superior. Good. She would like to keep it that way. It would become a very useful ally in the future. Perhaps even now.
She sniffed, feigning anger and decided that she would be legitimately honest with her feelings about Pride.
She sat herself down in front of the green one, knowing that this talk might be a lengthy one. She hadn't seen it in a couple of cycles and if it wanted to know her story, she had quite the tale.

So much goes said, Cháos has no choice but to try to understand. The serpent's own absence a faulty factor. Reseda was proving to be more complex than ever, confusing Cháos. 'Pride'..Sins.. ambitions? My god, if Cháos known any better.. Reseda had none! Was it wrong be upset that Reseda proved independently sufficient (if not overly) on her own?
Cháos jerks forward but quickly tames her bodily expressions of brewing fury. Jealousy, sure. But a dangerous level that could threaten any foundation Reseda built without the righteous daughter. She hisses.
Reseda speaks on, only halting the serpent's love.
@Reseda
Reseda could almost smell the jealousy radiating from the green one. Amusing, it reminded her of Envy just a little bit, who couldn't see a spell without getting jealous, although this time was with gems. Her, specifically. How strange. What had she done to gain the green one's strong affection and attachment? Not much, as she remembered. But it was fine, she enjoyed having a child that revered her so highly. Although, of course, she doubted that the green one truly thought of itself as beneath her.

Not much to say second time around, it angers Cháos more. A sense of rejection even assumed but theres no way to solidify that. Yes. Cháos is an emotional creature. With the mask of dispassion that any mother would be fooled by. Reseda was not beyond that. Why is that these two were somehow forced to understand one another? Cháos does not feel chemistry with Reseda, but when has she ever? Now more than ever, a young adult, she craved this mental understanding with Reseda; pretentiousness aside.
Her magenta reptilian pupils stare within the black voids of Reseda's eyes; that itself seemed to warn the snake of the nothingness that was Reseda. Cháos had no words, she had emotion that she wanted to express. That, which she would not murmur aloud. Thoughts swirl, speaking of harmful wishes and even strikes of vengeance. Cháos is aimeless at the moment, having not a base to place her hatred at. Not even a singular cause for the uprising of the newly cooked resent. But as she is verbally quiet there is a wrath that misted above the pair. Confrontation for another time, so be it.
Cháos was overwhelmed. She must go, choosing to withdraw till her heart stopped it's childish ache for better things. Things Reseda had no clue with. No affection, no touch, no seen love. All of these were active ingredients that mixed so well in the serpent's inferno.
And Reseda compliments Cháos. One of the first but Cháos scrutinizes this, unsure of it's genuineness. If Cháos was one thing, she was true. It's over. Cháos understood enough. She goes, slithering quickly past the komodo.

@Reseda
Reseda wasn't really sure what she had done to invoke such confusion and anger in the snake, but she could see it. Almost feel it in the air. For the first time in her life, she wanted to understand. She wanted to know what she was doing wrong, what she could do better. Why she wasn't a good 'Mama' to the green one. As it began to slide past, she did the only thing she knew how to do - she cast a spell. A mental wave, a strong one, reached out towards the snake and latched on. She opened it both ways and immediately tried to communicate her confusion.
Reseda had never really felt the need to know emotion, never understood why gems wanted connections. But Chaos was different. It had put itself under her, under her care as her own child. She was, although not by blood, a mother and she had that responsibility. She had seen mothers before. She remembered the goose well, being one slightly extreme example. But underneath all that anger and hate was still a mother who cared. Reseda didn't quite understand that she wanted to care, but she did and she tried to communicate this confused conflict to the snake.
