The round pulled up from the water, slowly turning into ice as it formed. Once it was solid, it plonked down in front of Fallah with a sharp thud. It actually looked about the exact same as the other one. Fallah figured he’d have to try again to make a new one that was better, but there was no sense in not playing with this one while it was all not broken. The cat chased the ball around again, still enjoying his simple game. Nothing too great about the ball, it was just fast and hard to catch, kind of like a prey animal. The way it slid and rolled around was hard for the young lynx to predict, and it kept his mind occupied. Like the other, however, this one eventually broke as well. Maybe it was the shape, or maybe it was the way the water was coming together. Instead of just hitting these into the water, Fallah had another idea. He thought that if he hit the lump towards the water, maybe he could make an ice spike appear in front of the lump and then they would crash together and shatter. It would be good target practice for later. Rearing, Fallah shot the ice ball towards the river and summoned his magic. "speak" |
