Inside the depths of Polaris, near a crumbled wall, a medium sized egg sat in the ruins, seemingly covered in rainbowy oil. It seemed lifeless, however, as time went on, a small creature developed. Growing, first a small lump of flesh. And then came limbs, and a brain, and a heart. And fur too. It felt a conscious emerging, and emotions too. He felt fear at first, fear of the unknown. Fear of what might be outside of the small egg he slept in.

However, the days came and went, and soon the chrysalis grew too small. His back was pressed against the wall of the rock, and he barely had room to stretch his paws. But the small space was all he needed. He barely made it out, but the pup did. He busted open the chrysalis with a few good aimed kicks, tumbling out onto his head. The Collie rolled over, laying on his side and blinking.
"Speech."
