Enka nodded eagerly at Bremen. “
That’s a deal!” She replied excitedly. The springbok was excited to have an excuse to return back the bazaar. It was a strange place, as was the shopkeeper, and she enjoyed the strangeness of it. He was a pleasant creature and she looked forward to getting to know him better. Plus, she appreciated the fact that she’d have assistance with making her newly thought-of garden something truly wonderous.
Speaking of curiosities, she turned to watch the wolf as it attempted to create mushrooms on the pile of banana peels. Seeing the mushrooms appear on the wolf’s hide initially, Enka resisted the urge to giggle. She had done the same a number of times when first learning to grow plants. And it reminded her of her mentor, the plant cougar who’s hide was always covered in a variety of plant life. Silently she wished the canine luck with making the mushrooms grow.
And so they did. Enka was pleased at this. They were nothing alike, this canine and the antelope. Yet because they did similar magic in a sense, she felt a sense of kinship with her. Mushrooms were like plants, but not. But they were both life from the earth. So, while very different, there laid some similarities between the two. Though the springbok did not realize just how little they actually had in common.
Enka moved to the pile of glowing orbs. They were stunning to look at with their soft glow. Yes, they will be perfect. She picked up one gingerly and turned back to the hybrid. “
Thank you. I look forward to our future endeavors,” she said around the gemstone. Then with a ripple of excitement running through her body, she sprang away towards Eridanus to begin planning.
