On dainty paws, Mau had made her way through the tunnels and caves unnoticed after her extraordinary birth. Fisher, Black and another gembound, whose name she never bothered to learn, had saved her from drowning, but she had her suspicions that they might have been behind the flood in the first place. Since that day, she'd strayed as far from water as she could without dehydrating herself. This of course took her away from the Eastern parts of the cave, and towards the Western portion. There, she would soon come across some less than lively areas, before entering the room of the dead. Her tiny jaw would draw open to push out the stench of decay, but soon it clung to her fur and she had no choice but to accept it. A few paw steps into this place, and she already felt uneasy... but intrigued. Who lived here? She'd find out with a soft, but echoing whisper- aiming her voice at the far wall to let it carry through the whole cave...
...her gem and eyes shone a soft, pastel blue for a moment, and then her feline voice would carry around the back of the cave before returning to her ears as a hushed tone. The light would fade, and the kitten would stumble backwards, sitting promptly to steady herself. She hadn't been expecting the dizzy sensation she was left with upon using magic again- her first attempt had been roughly the same, though, if she could remember it correctly. Still, the voice carried and so the cat settled in to wait for a response. She wouldn't wander too deep into this particular cave on her own- god knows what sort of monster was behind all this death.
