Amazon gave a small chuckle.
Orion, huh? She had been there a couple of times. She would be okay with going back again to explore a little more. But now she felt her feet itching for more adventure. She had more to see and explore and find. So many more opportunities, so much more time. The world seemed to get bigger, life seemed to get more purposeful now that she knew how to heal herself. All thanks to Envy.
She turned back and broke into an excited run towards whatever adventure she had next.

Envy nodded. "Good! I'll be checking, just to make sure," they added warningly. Speaking of Orion... Envy could feel by the emptiness in their belly that it was high time to be returning home. They found themselves looking around, gaze drifting towards the entrance to Tunnel N. They slowly sank down onto all fours, but Amazon was already speaking once more.
"I dunno. Die, maybe? who knows?" they offered unhelpfully, as the little lizard continued. They were grinning proudly though.
"You do that!" they encouraged, looking forward to all the new discoveries that they could leech in the future. "Seeya round."
And then, Amazon was gone, leaving Envy feeling a distinct sense of aloneness at the sudden silence. They quickly shrugged it off though, lowering their head close to the ground as they quietly slunk away. Socialization was exhausting, but they felt like they'd accomplished a lot today. Still, they couldn't help but feel themselves looking back, occasionally; and they knew, in their heart, what they were looking for. They felt themselves wishing bitterly that they'd offered to lead Amazon, to be her king. Offered a little cave next to theirs. The silence felt sour, and the thought that Amazon might very well pass on their treasured magic to someone else, felt even sourer.
Envy tried to shrug off the feeling, but knew that they were only playing a slave to their name again.
