"Speech" Thoughts
Again. Her voice growled within her head as she tensed up a little. Those little baby shakes would do nothing to a Golem if they chose to steal her gem again. Or Tamelyn's gem. The thought of Tamelyn made Arkrael's fur bristle up and the front of her fangs to be exposed. Again! The word roared through her head as she quickly began to concentrate once more. Again her gem came to life, humming and vibrating in her chest and soon after the ground around her began to shake. It was the same intensity. Same small quakes. An annoyed snarl vibrated within Arkrael's throat as her tail quickly rose into a different position. "You're being pathetic!" She snapped aggressively, snapping her jowls to emphasize the annoyance she was feeling.

She stomped around for a moment, as if in an attempt to make this quake bigger. Alas, the spell soon faded and she was left with the stones as silent as they normally were to the ears of those who were not attuned with the earth like she was. She took a few deep breaths, trying to calm her nerves as she listened to the deep vibrations the very stones hummed ever so quietly. With one final breath Arkrael calmed herself and opened her eyes once more. "Alright, one more time...then we will just move on..." She consoled herself as she returned to her spot in the middle of the tunnel
"Speech" Thoughts
Arkrael closed her eyes, easing out her breathing and listening to all the stones and rocks around her. It helped sooth her even more and soon her entire body was relaxed. Her tail returned to a normal position, swaying ever so slightly behind her. She sucked in a deep, slow breath before even slower began to release the air from her lungs. Her gem instantly came to life. Vibrating almost loudly as the humming emitted from it sang brilliantly to her audits. A deep smile pulled over her features as the spell worked. And this time actually worked. She felt the earth roll and quake beneath her paws, spreading out from her location to reach as far as it could.

"There we go..." She hummed happily as she opened her eyes and looked towards the floor where a few loose pebbles were bouncing around chaotically. A happy laugh escaped her and soon the spell wore itself out. Leaving the ground to settle back to being as still as it ever was. Arkrael grinned, content that she was able to pull that spell off completely this time around. The magic of Origin was definitely still a very strange thing. A strange thing that Arkrael was slowly beginning to learn more and more about. The good and the bad. She respected it. Knew that if she didn't only danger would come of it. Power was meant to be respected and she carried with her the gift of the strongest thing she knew. Earth. And she was damned sure proud of it. Now! It was time to move on with her practicing.
"Speech" Thoughts
Steadying her mind once more Arkrael quickly focused at her next task. Dislodge. It was the second thing she had ever learned. So it should come easily to her or so she hoped anyways. She waited for the reaction of her gem. Waiting for the stones to crack from the wall. Yet, nothing happened. Nothing at all. An annoyance quickly arose in her chest. Why was it so hard to cast her spells today?! Failing twice on her pebble quake and now this!? She found herself once again pacing around the tunnel's floor. Tail held high and head positioned down low. Her hackles were starting to raise as a snarl vibrated within her throat.

After being awake for so long why did these things have to be so hard? She fiercely shook her head, desperate to clear the ill-mannered thoughts that were threatening to plague her. No! She could do this. She snorted loudly and stomped right back over towards the center of the room. Taking several deep breaths in an attempt to relax herself, Arkrael closed her eyes. There she put the image to mind of what she wanted to be done. She had to stop letting her failures work herself up. She would get no where stomping around like a baby pup who couldn't do anything. Try again...
"Speech" Thoughts
A slow breath escaped Arkrael. Her eyes were closed as she focused her mind's eye on a wall. Willing her Earthen magic to do as she asked of it. Soon her gem began to vibrate and hum, indicating that something was working. At a sharp crack in the wall in front of her, Arkrael popped her eyes opened and watched with a broad grin as the wall cracked just barely enough to send small chunks of rubble to fall and clatter onto the ground. Good. Not great... But good. She hummed happily as she trotted over to the fallen stones and plopped down onto her stomach to gaze at all of them.

She had successfully pulled that skill of. Now she would move on. Again. She pondered over what she could try this time, studying the rocks just before her. As an idea lit up in her mind she quickly grinned. She could use THAT spell! With her tail now thumping against the ground Arkreal gathered the stones closer to her and kept her legs circled around them. Her tongue lolled out of her chops as she began to pant. The effects of continuous magic use was starting to catch up to her, but Arkrael was not ready to be done. She would do a few more attempts and then call it for the night and return her way home back to Eridanus.
"Speech" Thoughts
As a sigh escaped Arkrael the growing she-wolf closed her eyes and concentrated again, but this time... No. She would not close her eyes this time. She opened her heterochromia eyes and gazed upon the stones before her. She let out a deep breath and quickly focused her mind at the task at hand. Almost immediately her gem sang to life once again. Vibrating deeply as small lights began to form within the center of the gem. She watched as the stones were suddenly compressed and not a moment later a loud crack echoed throughout the tunnel. Ruble fell away and two beautiful gems fell out for Arkrael to see.

Arkrael's tail thumped and pounded against the ground as she pulled the beautiful gems closer to her. She would have to show Tamelyn! Her panting came heavier, showing signs of exhaustion from overusing her magic. She was unsure if she could pull off another spell so for a moment she pondered if she should attempt turning the other stones into gorgeous little gems too. No... Maybe next time. For now she truly needed a break and one hell of a long nap. Slowly rising to her paws Arkrael gathered up the gems into her muzzle and glanced around. Contemplating which would be the faster way back to Eridanus Arkrael paused there for a moment. Finally she made up her mind that she would travel through Polaris and find her way home that way. With that set in mind Arkrael turned on paw and with a steady pace, made her way home back to Eridanus.
