Today was a lazy sort of day.

Eridanus was, as much as Sebastian hated to say it, very boring. There was nothing to do but watch plants grow. He supposed, if you had Magic in-tune with the plants, that could hold your attention. But his Magic laid in fire, in flames and heat. Not in growth and new life.

He had already done his rounds, checking to make sure that things were normal. No Gembounds were looking for trouble, or hurting his dearest brother's beloved plants. The lesser Gembounds were thriving, and he had plucked off only a single mouse to eat, as it had looked rather poorly, and he didn't want it spreading sickness.

So now, lacking anything to do, the Panther dozed. He was sprawled in the shade of a great tree, the cave lights shining through the leaves to dapple gentle on his fur. His tail tapped lazily, and his eyes were closed, rib-cage rising and falling with each breath.

As though he were dreaming, the big cat suddenly stiffened, and then a banana 'poofed' into existence a body length away from his nose. His brow wrinkled, but he did not awaken, instead sighing a great breath.

"Speech looks like this."
Thoughts look like this.
