The Design-an-NPC Contest has ended! NightWolf's design of Momma Bolormaa will bring to the caves not an aloof Elder or an ominous villain, but a kind, shy and motherly creature only looking to aid. With her four ears and marsupial traits, she certainly is something "other"--and her sad gathering of the stones of fallen Gembound, and her mothering of them, offers a shroud of sad wonderment to her tale. She will make an appearance some time soon!

This brings me to the next question--what would you guys like to see next? A contest, an IC event? Have anything in mind? Pop a post below and let us know! Let's get the discussion on!

The quest Gone Fishing has now moved to Part II. A mysterious blue stone has appeared in Polaris, flashing white glyphs of bones and strange symbols, as if asking for help. Feel free to join in at any time.

IC events are always pretty neat!

An IC event would be cool! Maybe something to do with tunnel K? Or for an OOC contest, maybe a design a new spell contest, or a (friendly) argument where participants make a post arguing why an element is the best. Since there are only 12 elements, maybe we could split it into categories (like use in combat, use in conflict outside of combat (healing, spying, etc.), versatility, use in everyday activities, etc.)

I like it when there are multiple events going on, both IC and OOC, so maybe having a skin contest going on while having an IC event, like some other kind of site-wide event in one of the tunnels or caves.

Or maybe we could do something ooc like designing a new spell for a few of the magickas?

I think possibly creating new spells or re-vamping some old ones could be cool?
