ORIGIN

The chrysalis was close to the waterfall, buried into a spot only a few inches away from the roaring, rushing water. The clash of the fall may have been distracting from the much smaller, less noticeable noise, a soft thud coming from within the blue chrysalis. The creature inside had grown cramped, too big for the chrysalis in the time that had passed. It was time for this creature to emerge, regardless of if the chrysalis seemed stronger than the gembound living inside of it.

With the next struggle, the chrysalis fell away, the entire front cracking and crumbling, leaving just the empty shell of the back. With nothing to hold the gembound inside, they flopped out ungracefully with what was left of the membrane inside of the gem. For a moment, the gembound, a cheetah, lay there, breath heaving and almost unresponsive, eyes closed tight. And then, they moved, their breath not so ragged as they opened their eyes, squinting against the bright light. One limb at a time pushed upwards, bringing the creature to a standing position. They were wobbly, unstable, but they were standing. The roar of the waterfall was the first thing they heard, and their gaze went to it, with some sort of curiosity at the large thing that was only a few inches away.

The great water of Pisces. Another Origin special Lucifero had never truly adorned. Lucifer was associated much more with the displays of Origin and the cat grew bored. Origin had things. But was anything brand new? As if an answer, his internal flames birth a newer agenda: to find a thing that is brand new. In that, Lucifer would find rarity and a new greatness. In what Lucifer would find that in, was unknown. So he goes, as any chosen path in his life. With not much room to be cautious or even fearful; thrusting with action that vermilion body of feline superiority.

A niche for these kinds of things, he finds this rather similarly built kitten. One of spots like the Jaguar that stare with bloodthirsty optics, with an accomplished emergence without the help of any, like the Jaguar that now approaches from the distance. Lucifer is revealed from the darkness, dazzling lights from the crystals highlighting his rosen pelt.

Lucifero walks with a relaxed gate, his heavy arms lifting with ease as sheathed paws stop the path to the waterfall. Confining in a sense, Lucifer does not sit but does try to stand over this youth with eyes of brimstone, scrutinizing. Lucifer watches in silence, intrigued. To calm the youth, Lucifero produces a great rumble from his girth that travels effortlessly past his jowls that peak open; fangs clicking as his hot breath sends vibrations of what is known to cats as a purr. An act of closure and if not, assurance.

Once a time, Lucifer has given a try to this. But this time, he will do it. Regardless of anyone who fights back. Including the youth. "Welcome, my child." Vague but clear in its claim.
