Bahamut walked.
One would not be blamed for doing a double, or even triple, take upon seeing him. The tiger was absolutely massive, a prime specimen of his breed. Muscles rippled beneath gleaming fur, and any Lessers who saw him turned tail and fled. Even some Greaters had done the same.
Although, it wasn't his appearance that got most of the attention. Upon the tiger's broad back, sat a pair of corpses. One, vaguely canine in shape but lacking a head, seemed mostly decomposed, filling the tunnel with a horrific stench. The other, however, seemed rather freshly dead. It was definitely a dog of some sort, with a chest that appeared to be caved in and torn out.
It didn't seem to bother the tiger any, as he continued stalking through Tunnel J, heading determinedly towards Monoceros. He had heard of the room, and ancient knowledge told him what to do.
The room was hot, but he didn't care. Instead, he stood for a moment, before surveilling the area. He needed a very specific spot - somewhere hot, but not too windy. And he saw the perfect spot. It was a crevasse in the wall, protecting the corpses from the wind, while allowing the dry heat to work its magic.
Approaching it, he rolled his shoulders, dumping the corpses on the ground. He dragged them apart so that they would not meld to each other, before stepping out of the crevasse. Turning, he sprayed the rock wall, marking it to warn others away. And with that, he left, intending to return in a Cycle or two.
