Vladis was pleased at the young pigeon’s praise, ignoring the look that Ratty shot him. It was deserving, after all. He was a strong and very intelligent raccoon dog. It was nice that finally, after 3 cycles, he had met someone who understood this simple fact. Perhaps this young child could be useful. They were intelligent as well, though quite talkative with all that chirping. She could be useful to have around. And Vladis was pleased that his words had also silenced the younger gembound. At last, a bit of peace and quiet.
The peace was soon shattered, though, as Crescendo once again feel into a lengthy string of observations and musing. The tanuki simply stared at her as more and more words tumbled from her beak. She was making observations and questions about things that he had simply taken for granted. Why would he question the waterfall? It was a waterfall. Why question the dead bones? They were dead now anyways, and what killed them were probably bones as well amongst the piles. He hadn’t seen anything of suspicion anyways so it seemed strange to question it.
Yet this chick most certainly did question it. It appeared she’d question most anything. Though her words brought pleasure to the echoing grey, particularly at being called adorable. Ratty had turned slightly away with a twitch of her whiskers in slight embarrassment though carrying a smile.
