The Fossa panted, lowering his head. Oh, this was getting frustrating. But he wanted to try just one more time. So he strained, and strained, reaching down deep until hitting the very bottom. And there was still nothing for him to use.

Thoughts look like this.

His energy felt completely and utterly sapped. The Fossa sagged, not caring in the least that his spell had failed again. He was exhausted, and feared fainting if he tried again. So he stood well, slouched, and made his way away from the land covered in rocks. He wanted a nice tree to sleep in, off the ground and out of the way.

Thankfully, not far away from his sparring ground, Mongo was able to find a nice tree. It took the carnivore only moments to clamber up the tree, and to find a nice, thick branch to curl up on. And, before long, he was fast asleep.
