ORIGIN - A New Buddy

Zeke took quite some time to leave Fornax; eventually, he was OK and cosy right where he was and had no intention to go anywhere any time soon. Hypothetically if another was yelling at him there, although who he met who was now his pal he'd like to believe didn't do anything like angrily holler at him to get up. Still, if his new buddy; or someone else did demand Zeke to stop lazing around right this instant, he would've taken some time to get out and about, no need to rush, gonna relax.

So it was the first accomplishment for Zeke with how he has managed to wander a considerable amount right about now, while he did take some time at it may or may not took quite some naps during his travel. Except for this glittery desert thing with water, where he got so chilled to the bone when he went in there, nothing intolerable, Zeke is sure a decent spot to nap is there even there is he got tired enough. But, with being in a room where there was warm water earlier and chilling in there for a long while, and cold water clinging to his fluffy coat and underside was bugging Zeke, just a singe.

So Zeke sped his pace up a little and made some effort in where he was going, not in auto-pilot much and managed to nimble around this land without slipping once. Making a quick and easy leap when he had to climb on high reclines, he is still young, so he's about Great Dane sized and thus needs to leap to reach high places. Thankfully for this lazy guy, it'll soon be much easier to reach high places when the dragon in time becomes the giant Zeke will grow into as an adult, as Zeke prefers to do things more relaxed. Zeke may be making an effort, but he's not going to go out of his way to make as much a physical effort if he can get away with it.

Zeke went back to being sluggish when this cold air was ebbing away, shaking off some water he kept on going, tempted to drop back down and take another nap right here and now if he didn't glance what's above him. What his eyes found was something out of this world for this young mind, and it amazed him, this room's ceiling is dense with these neato coloured lights everywhere like they are from somewhere else entirely, not part of this world, Zeke kept his eyes on them in awe as he pondered. Yes yes, this here is Zeke's kinda style, the dragon likes this room, and so Zeke is gonna take a break here and not leave for a while. This place is too neat to go now, besides the dragon is tired now, doing some exercise drained him. Zeke is gonna relax and rest right here as he flops himself down on this ground, eyes never leaving Orion's ceiling, he'll be stargazing until he takes another nap.

@Asimona

Boredom, loneliness, agitation, and depression haunted Asimona's every small, stiff movement. She was a creature of attachment, of love, affection, and companionship. She needed others, she needed that love, yet in a full 2 cycles, she had not had many meaningful encounters. She had been alone with her thoughts, emotions, and hallucinations and that did bad things for her emotional state.

She was almost like a mindless creature now, her wings spread out as she glided along air drafts in near the ceiling of Orion. She didn't remember coming here. She didn't remember what happened before she came here. She didn't remember her reasoning for even leaving Polaris. Maybe it was he inability to do any kind of thinking that had sent her here. How sad.

Her shadow was massive against the ground as she soared just beneath lightbulbs and glowing crystals - it would pass easily over the dragon resting below her. Without really thinking about it, the mindless beast using her body, she opened her jaws and let out an earsplitting roar, which would have been backed up by a stream of ice, but faltered. No matter. There was no reason for it anyways.

She glided down, as if she had found a place she had been looking for, and landed down lightly on a small tower of stone, her back to the dragon not far away. She did not notice him and, even if she did, who knew if she would even react? She laid herself down and curled up, resting her head on her front claws, eyes staring ahead, dull and dead. What was the point of anything anymore?

Zeke kept one eye cracked open, glowing pupil directed at this place’s ceiling, still enjoying these fake stars as they glinted with to him their supernatural light, an odd breeze picked up as it drifted through this cavern, the stocky Gembound quite enjoyed its feeling as it hit his face. Neat place here, a place to hang out relaxing and all. Zeke would've taken a nap right there, but things got a bit darker, and something was kinda blocking his eye from enjoying this scenery any further. K, weird what's happening?

Whoa damn, that's a loud one, something eating at them? Cool how there another one like him though in appearance; what's it doing here? Are they related to him maybes? Nahhhhhh, couldn't be; either way doesn't seem like a happy chap there, quite an entrance they did there.

Maybe he can give a little chat with them to check what's on their mind? Best notta suffer in silence 'ere and all right?

Slowly getting up, taking his time to as he was reluctant to leave his resting spot, but he prevailed in successfully getting himself up as he got as close as he could get to them without having to climb on anything, far too much effort and maybe even a bit dangerous for not being able to fly quite yet.

"Heyyyy always fun to see a new face! Ya, look kinda like me, pal! Sooo what's up?" he tried to let his voice carry as much as he can to catch their ears, for chatting with a new stranger his tone is a chummy one like he's speaking to an old friend.

@Asimona

The voice snapped Asimona to attention and she jerked her head up, whipping around. She widened her eyes at the sight. Another dragon. But instead of feeling the rush of joy she would have felt a few cycles ago, all she felt was rage and despair. It was another one come to torment her. What would this one be called - brother? The thought almost sent a roar to her jaws. But she was so angry, that it was a miracle she didn't let one out anyways.

She leaped to her feet turning herself completely to face the dragon and snarled, her eyes almost glowing with anger. She crouched aggressively and her wings flared threateningly. "WHO ARE YOU," she roared in the other dragon's face. "AND WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS BOTHERING ME?!" She didn't bother running, though. She knew it was pointless. He would just follow. She scratched at the rocks with fury, not really knowing what else to do. "Do you take pleasure in following me around and tormenting me? Why can't I ever meet someone that isn't in my head?!"

The smaller dragon stiffened a little, and his expression got a lil nervous looking when he got their attention, something tells him from those movements it's a bad thing he has done so.

Whoops.

Did he do something wrong? It's a little odd reaction there, don't seem pleased for sure though and it seems he has unintentionally made it worse. Maybe he startled them for calling out from behind; maybes he should've first gotten their attention letting them be able to see him first before attempting to give a chat.

His bad.

He was ready to apologise, but he didn't get a chance as nervousness made his vocal chords clench up, this new fellow gave him such an intense look like he committed something serious. He got kinda worried about getting harmed now as it looks kinda like when they got up to face him with a ticked off face and snarled kinda threateningly; they look like they were ready to jump on him now.

Oh geeze... Maybe he should go chill somewhere else? He clearly is not welcome.

Huhhhh?? Have they met before?? Can't be a second new face and all, but they seem to believe to have met him, weird he doesn't recall, nor ever bothering them; what could they mean? A brow of his raises up so much so his face scrunches up a lil from how confused he is. He raised a furred claw up and waved it in a defensively way to quietly try and hopefully calm things.

"Whoa whoa whoa, easy there bud, names Zeke...! I don't wish to bring ya any trouble. I uh dunno what you're talking about; whatcha mean by all that buddy? I just 'hatched' or something in that room with the warm water not too long ago. I can... go if ya want?" He made a gesture with a claw directing back to the tunnel leading to where this cold room was, cold but they must want to be alone even if he doesn't know why.

"Follow? I won't follow if ya don't want me to pal K? I doubt I could catch up anyway, heh..." he tried his best lighten this mood, they aren't happy he merely wished to see what's wrong as they seemed upset before seeing him; believed he could chat for a bit, but appears they want the opposite. Better ask first if they want him to go.

@Asimona

Asimona continued to glare at the dragon, but as his voice reached her, her furious gaze began to melt away, to be replaced by confusion and unease. Was he not there to torment her? Was he not just another figment that chased her day after day? It was hard to tell when they were real or false. She slowly stood and crawled her way down the rock, approaching the dragon carefully. As she got closer, she noticed the glint of his gemstone buried beneath his fur and her unease grew. She stopped for a moment and stared at him before slowly reached out a claw and pushed at him. He was real, solid.

He eyes widened and she retreated, realizing that she had totally just threatened a complete stranger. And not just a stranger as, according to him, he had only just hatched! How could she be so stupid. "Oh god, I'm so sorry...I just..." but how could she explain that she thought he was only a hallucination? That would probably be both rude and make her seem completely insane. Not that she was totally confident that she was sane at all, but she didn't just want others to know that she felt that way. It just seemed wrong.

She looked down shamefully, her tail curling with embarrassment. "Please accept my apologies, I hope I didn't offend you or scare you."

Zeke stayed dead still as this new fellow stared him down with an unsettling death glare, only when they eased up on it did Zeke chill out a bit move a lil again. Standing so still like so which wasn't relaxed made Zeke feel so uncomfortably stiff so he makes an effort to ease his tense muscles, his tail tracing lazy circles on the ground, some teensy debris getting caught on his tail feathers.

He tilts his head a tad, Zeke lifted a claw again and waved it side-to-side, hoping to give things another shot to see if he'll be welcome after all.

"Yoo hoo buddy?" kinda spaced out they are from looks of things, best to try and get their attention again as he gives a soft smile to them.

Zeke let himself go still again when they moved to get closer, oh man trying to not budge at all is oddly tiring, way different from not moving at all to relax. Zeke right now, actually wishes he could maybes twitch a muscle, but it looks like it'll be best if he kept still for a lil bit longer as they got closer to him, dunno what they might do and all, it's kinda weird to be nervous.

Whoa, he was expecting something else when their claw approached him, but a gentle push was all it was which broke Zeke's still spell as he took a few steps back from getting prodded by them. Free from frozen muscles again, he let himself stretch out his front legs as he stared up with a tilt to his head, an amused smirk kinda creeping up on his lips.

"Boop?" he had a lighthearted tone, Zeke was slightly confused by all this, but he's going with this flow here and adding some humour.

Aw gee, they seem guilty now, hopefully, nothing a lil humour and reassurance won't fix, and if his first attempt won't, guess it'll be his mission to try, and maybes get this bigger fellow to laugh or somethin'.

"Heyyyyy now buddy, relax it's cool, must have ya reasons pal," no clue what but they do seem to, have somethin' on their mind, although he kinda wanna still wants to know what everything they said meant, he doesn't know if it'll be wise as it's probs a touchy matter. Could gently prod and turns out they don't wanna discuss, it'll be best to drop it afterwards, their choice after all. Glad this has been resolved maybes though as things coulda turned out bad there.

"Aw nah don't worry bout it pal, I was just confused, lil worried if I maybes was sleepwalking during my naps and doing weird things without knowing, heh," OK he was nervous yeah, but best he doesn't mention so, sides 'scared' and 'nervous' are kinda different so.

@Asimona

Asimona was relieved that he accepted her apology but still, she felt horrible about it. Was this what she had come to? One look at a strange creature and she thought it was another one of them? Why did it always have to be this way?

She was at least glad that the other dragon (if it was a dragon) was making everything a little lighter. Joking and being chill. She wished that she could be just as calm and carefree as him, but it seemed that her time alone with nothing but her thoughts and taken away whatever peace she had once had.

But at his suggestion that perhaps he had been sleepwalking, Asimona couldn't help but crack a smile. She could imagine the guy drifting around, asleep, and doing who knows what. It was an amusing thought, much better then whatever she thought he was. She gave a soft shake of her head. "No, nothing like that. I just...thought you weren't real I guess." The words sounded just as dumb verbally as they had in her head. "Uh, so, my name's Asimona, by the way. And, uh, I just gotta ask. Are you a dragon?"

Lotsa things seem to be on their mind; maybes he should prod about it or not? Hmm, maybes, but also he should back out if they reject to; unless some circumstances change later or something.

This young dragon has managed to get them to be a lil better emotional wise with how they seem to be smiling kinda now. They're more at ease, a better mood, even when he found them and they didn't detect him yet they seemed a lil down in the dumps which is kinda why he tried to get their attention when his eyes found them; heh mission accomplished~.

To be fair he took lotsa naps on his way here, so it wouldn't be too crazy to suggest he mighta did some weird things during those many naps. Something like he maybes got here while sleepwalking earlier, and being a general pain to them and others during his nap maybes, and course he wouldn't have any idea to it happening with him sleeping and all. Though in his mind, a concept like 'sleepwalking' is kinda funny anyways, walking around in such a weird way with constant limping like he was a giant puppet getting carried around or something. Like some outside force is tryna kidnap him and make him annoying to others who have no idea what is going on, nor does he, it's kinda funny sounding when he thinks about it.

"Huh... Wanna talk bout it maybes, no pressure if not," he'll give one shot to prod if they don't want to it'll be cool; still, it's neat how his chance to ask them without it seeming weird or awkward to ask, came to him so soon.

"Oh name's Zeke it's great to meet you, Asimona buddy!" well to be honest when Asimona yelled at him, asking who he was, him answering with 'Zeke' was only something he came up with now. He only used whatever word which came to his head to try and appease them, with answering their question and, 'Zeke' is what came to mind first. Sooooooo guess his name is 'Zeke' now huh? Well, Sounds pretty cool even if it was a weird way to get it but he'll stick with it maybes, kinda too late anyways he's already established with certainty to Asimona here how his name is 'Zeke' and all now to them, best not to go back on it now. He doesn't mind, cuz yeah, he likes 'Zeke', it's simple and kinda cool.

"Dragon? Uhhhhh, is that what you get called or somethin'? So I may get called one too since I kinda look like you? If so, guess I am a 'dragon' then," he gave a casual shrug with his answer. Now he has fur, and Asimona doesn't, but aside from it, they are very alike appearance-wise, so 'Zeke' guesses they're a 'dragon' if it means as such a way, he doesn't get it but maybes he'll ask later, unless Asimona explains now, as it is obvious 'dragon' is a new word to 'Zeke'.
