Blackberry eyed Jayberry and the gore dripping from her jaws. She approved greatly of her daughter and the ferocity she constantly displayed. Perhaps it would be good for Heart-Song to meet her first. After all, Jayberry embodied all of what the Bloodberries were. Murder, blood, and a love for fighting and destruction. The little bird would learn soon, whether they liked it or not.
She nodded towards the wolf.
Jayberry licked her lips, tasting the blood contentedly. She had long grown to like the metallic taste, not minding when it clung to her mouth long after a meal.
She looked down at the bird - clearly not a hatchling, too well-formed for that. So had it returned to its Chrysalis, like that other bird they'd fought? oh, she wondered why.
But then Mother said that the bird was going to be a part of the family, and so she differed to her. She inclined her head to the bird, saying,
@Blackberry
@Heart-Song
"I'd love to be a part of the family!" they exclaimed to her.
They looked over at Jayberry, putting on a bright smile, even as they realized that Jayberry was merely faking a compliment. Still, they appreciated the effort, and elected to say nothing about it. "Thank you! It's good to meet you!"
@Jayberry
@Blackberry
(apologies for short post, I have like, zero muse)
