Ocelot gave a small nod. It wasn’t much to go on, but it was something. Still, for now he needed to stay and protect her. Once she was safe, then he’d seek revenge.

”Ok, Tunnel N. I... I don’t know where that is but I’ll find it but not yet. I will stay with you until you are better and safe. I need a name, and when you feel ready, I will be ready. I will hurt him like he hurt you.”

He nuzzled her softly and closed his eyes. Tunnel N, a group of gembounds. One of them was the one who did it. It was small, with scales and aweful teeth. He would find him, whoever he was. He would make him pay.

Rast nodded slowly. One day she would give him a name. But today was not that day. No, now she wanted to rest again. Her mind was already sluggish once more. When ocelot nuzzled her, she returned the action as best she could. She had to be careful to avoid poking him with the prongs of her stone.

Once she did this she settled once more to rest, hoping the nightmares would keep their distance.
