ORIGIN

A dark red gem lay nestled among the edge of a cave. A small crack appeared, followed by more shortly after. A moment's pause, and it collapsed, revealing the creature that lay inside.

Said creature was a tiny cat covered in spots. Her fur was sticking up from the fluid inside the now broken chrysalis. She looked around blearily, and yawned. Where was she? All she could see was light and color. She wobbled slightly as she tried to stand. She managed to succeed, and took a cautious step forward. And then another. And then she fell.

She let out a cry of protest as she did so, though was powerless to stop her fall. After a moment, she looked down at her fur and realized it was sticking up and was messy. She frowned. That didn't seem right. It didn't feel right. Her fur should look nice and pretty!

It was time for Lily to join the world of the living, time for Lily to break out. He stretched himself out and pushed against the prison which held him trapped. He pushed, and he pushed until the walls began to break and shatter. Lily fell to the ground and slowly got himself out, as he did though a foul smell would follow him and quickly fill the room. Of course, Lily couldn’t smell it, even when he sniffed. In fact, he couldn’t smell a thing. He looked around and saw another creature, with a smile he walked up.

“Hello, I’m Lily. What can I call you?”

He tilted his head as he rose his tail happily. As he did a little more of the foul smell came from him, making the room smell even worse.

Indelia had started grooming her fur when something made her pause. She looked up and saw another creature come out of their chrysalis. Along with them, however, was a foul smell. She scowled immediately. Who was this, and how dare they smell so terribly?

A moment later her first question was answered. This creature was Lily. She grunted at his question back to her. And it was only a second later that more of this foul smell came. It was getting into her fur!

"What is that smell?" Her fur bristled up, and she backed away from Lily a little. She didn't even bother giving him the privilege to know her name. Not that she was entirely sure what it was herself. She gave it a moments thought, though it wasn't long before something came up. Indelia. Her name is Indelia.

She still didn't plan to tell this Lily that, however.
