Cocytus was swimming along the Crystal River, as usual. She stuck close to the banks where the water was shallower and the flow less furious, of course. She was still young and certainly didn't wish to drown just yet. But she loved swimming and being in water; it was just so much easier than moving around on land.
She was floating, relaxed, when her eyes caught another Gembound. And not just a Gembound - it was a fellow scaly young water reptile! Of course, she didn't believe in judging Gembounds based on species - but meeting a fellow long water reptile was certainly nice. Maybe he could offer her advice on moving on land.
Or she could help him with something! That was plausible too. As she'd discovered after the encounter at her hatching, making others smile felt absolutely amazing. Not to mention, it spread a little more helpfulness around so that when she needed help hopefully they wouldn't turn her down, because that would be rude and
so not amazing.
"Hey there!" she called, swimming up to the shore so she could talk to him better.
"Nice to meet you!"
@Hellberry
"Hellberry, huh?" It was an... odd... name, but hey, names were a ridiculous thing to judge others on anyway. Who knew if the name she picked for herself was any better?
"I'm Cocytus. It's great to see a fellow water reptile!" Oooooh, look at those eyes. Ruby red eyes! Her own eyes were a simple muddy greyish brown, not nearly as cool as Hellberry's. She grinned back at him. At least her teeth were just as good.
"So, what are you doing out here today? Fishing? Getting a drink? Or just admiring the river?"
