ORIGIN

It had been a while since the cubs first hatching and he was growing steadily. His body easily keeping up with the new information he was learning. He had kept himself well fed. Having picked up fishing quite easily with his large paws, that and plants he found, were edible to him as well. He figured however, it was time to catch up with his caretaker properly, wanting to train in the ways of combat. He wanted to figure out how to defend himself against the dangers of the cave, having seen things within the marsh of Cetus. He could never make out what they were, but he wasn't going to chance an injury due to inquiry just yet.

He attempted to cast Fauna Cleanse, a practice model to try and up his strength for what was about to come. Feeling a familiar surge of strength within his body gave him comfort, he smiled, reveling silently within his magical abilities.

He made it to a clearing just off of the river that churned with its murky depths. He let out a small call, his intent clear on drawing Dragon out here. His brass colored fur glinted within the early morning light, mist curling around the ground. His claws pawed at the ground as he waited, metallic eyes looking out for his caretaker. That gemstone nose of his would have been twitching had it been given the chance, his sense of smell taking in all that was around him, keeping himself on his own toes.

He was never too far away from the little cub. There were larger things in this cave, after all, so though Dragon hardly hovered overprotectively, he did remain within some measure of shouting distance.

Munkir had picked up fishing quickly, and as soon as he'd shown the will to be off on his own, and the capability to care for himself, Dragon had stepped back. It was good to be so self-sufficient, as he himself had been at a very early age. When he heard the bear cub call out, he was slipping from the damp back into the river channel in an instant, barely a splash announcing his movement.

A few moments later his dark, log-like shape glided up through the waterway, his eyes, nostrils and the ridges of his back protruding black and wet from the surface. When he at last spotted the cub he turned, thick tail propelling him to the shore.

His head emerged, dark eyes looking to the cub with curiosity. His voice came booming an instant later.

"Well, Munkir Barrattiel, how are you getting on? Do you need something?"
