Reseda did not react to the Collector's praise. For her, it was all a little too slick, a little too gracious. Perhaps that was just him or perhaps he was trying to appease her in some way. She did not know because she did not understand how others thought.
She had always desired to get her claws into one of those annoying berry idiots so the Collector asking her to kill one of them simply gave her another reason to break away and take one of them down. There was one problem, though, that she could see forming in her head. She narrowed her eyes as her tongue flicked thoughtfully.
"But of course. If there is no risk in it, then it is hardly a challenge. In any case, cunning is a type of strength all its own. I believe you have what it takes to manage. But if you wish a hint, you can easily claim you were attacked--or found one invading... I doubt it would be seen as out of character for them." The Collector paused, and then added--"I have so many gifts to choose from."
@Greed
Reseda nodded thoughtfully, her claws tapping slowly on the ground.
She looked back up towards the Collector.
"Only this. Tell me, so that I may prepare your reward for when you return: do you prefer strength granted to your power as you claw your way to the top, or a defense against those who wish to see you dragged back down? I have, as I have said... many gifts to choose from." Clawed hands pressed together eagerly outside the robe, awaiting Greed's reply.
@Greed
Reseda considered this carefully. Strength, of course, was preferable, but she had strength already. She had her claws and many of her spells made attacking easy. As for defense, well, she had far fewer of those.
"Again, very wise. Excuse me--I will sort through my collection, and see what rewards I find. The degree of your success will merit a rise in value, naturally; I wish you the best of luck."
With this last softly crooned, he paused--as if waiting to see if Greed had anything more to add, or ask.
@Greed
Reseda nodded, waiting for just moment to see if the Collector had anything else to add. However, when he did not, she turned and trudged through the bones, back towards Orion. She would most likely find one of them there, or perhaps in Polaris. Either way, she had to cross through Orion first so she might as well start there. This was going to be interesting.
