Come one, come all!

The long awaited time has come! The Sinful Seven have come together to prepare this wondrous feast for all to attend. It's a celebration of companionship, of royalty and of course... overindulgence!

Crystalline bowls can be seen lined neatly up against one crumbled wall nearby the entrance, full of various fruits brought all the way from Eridanus or grown by the Seven's own chef, Gluttony! There are also piles of succulent grasses and piles of fresh but suspiciously tiny bananas.

A sickly sweet smell hangs over some of the bowls; the fruits within have been fermented. Who knows what'll happen if you eat them...?

Opposite all of these fruits have been gathered a slightly more macabre reward, for those with more savoury tastes; thanks to the combined efforts of Reign and Greed, cave rats and a few unfortunate cave deer have been brought into the throne room, and pushed into a corner, as far from the King as possible.

The entrance to Tunnel N has been safely blocked, and beyond the crumbled walls of the Throne room sits the towering shape of Dread, dutifully watching partygoers come and go.

Step forth and be a part of the latest craze! Bring gifts or simply come and enjoy the show. Budding merchants, feel free to come and peddle your wares. And, for those considering entering the kingdom, please, step forth and meet the king! Don't be shy!

Sitting proudly on the Throne, I'm sure they'll manage to weasel their way into your heart somehow.

Pride paced his way back, appearing a little more relaxed what with the added defenses. Now that Tunnel N was blocked, and the dragon present, his concerns about a surprise attack were at least somewhat alleviated. Finally, he could turn his mind to other things.

He came with gift in hand--or, rather, in teeth--approaching the throne after his brief absence, and pausing before it. Gripped in his slender jaw was a glinting amethyst gemstone, seemingly exactlingly cut, every facet shining as the light hit it. He wanted to set a good example--to show that he was respectful of their King, so that others might show the same deference. A sweeping bow, his great silvery rack of antlers brushing the ground, and he stood again, laying the amethyst at the foot of the throne.

"My King. A gift for you; may you reign long. I will periodically check the defenses, but if you need my services meanwhile, I am here." Without a further word he pushed back up, glancing up at the dark-scaled dragon perched at the back of the throne. He then moved to the drinks. They smelled sweet--almost tempting--but closer up, they had a rank and bitter odor.

Bewildered--and a little suspicious (Is someone trying to poison us?) he glanced back and spoke again.

"Err--I think the liquid has... gone rotten?"

Pride had no experience with alcohol, after all. He was, at least, grateful that the dead deer were nowhere near him--he had almost, indeed, forgotten their presence, and his own grim urge to check and ensure that none were any of the herds of Eridanus that he knew.

But back to the punch!

The stag sniffed it, and gave some a tentative lick, glancing quizzically back at Envy for explanation.

Reseda really didn't want to be at this party. She had no need to celebrate anything, she didn't want to socialize, and she generally thought it to be a big waste of time. But she was a member of the Sinful Seven. She had a lot to make up to Pride and Envy if she wanted to get in good. So she was there and decided that she would simply act as a guard.

She stood a little ways up the Throne, near Envy, and watched the congregation with sharp eyes. She glanced towards Pride as he tasted the drinks and, after a quick glance around the room, joined him by the table.

She leaned over and stared at the many different drinks lined up on the table. She didn't really care to have anything particularly fancy - water and meat was fine with her, but she couldn't admit that she was a little interested. Her tongue flickered and she caught the same scent that had made Pride cringe. She dipped her tongue into one of the bowls to get a taste and nodded. "It's fermented," she rumbled. "Drink enough and you'll apparently feel strange." Personally, she didn't care for the taste, but she wanted to know what this 'strange feeling' was supposed to be. So she dipped her mouth in and began to drink, despite the strange flavor.

Glory swooped through the huge cavern of Orion, his eyes fixed on the ground. He had missed Lust's invitation, but had found the crystal he had given them at the entrance to Monoceros. Either they were in trouble or they just wanted to see him, a thought which sent a pleasurable tingle down his spine. He was happy that they relied on him for something.

He knew that there was some kind of group living at the Throne and he guessed that, perhaps, Lust lived with them. He saw the congregation at the throne from some distance and realized that this is what he had been called for. Or, at least, he hoped that he had.

As he got closer, he spotted the dark, imposing figure of Dread and stared with surprise. What was going on here? Once he was over the partygoers he began circling overhead, his wings held out and letting him soar gracefully. It looked like some kind of party.

But then he spotted the huge, dark figure of Dread and almost stopped in midair. He turned himself so that he was flying over and flew right in front of the dragon. "Dread!" he called out joyfully. "It's good to see you! What are you doing here?"

The dragon lifted his head, blinking, his third eyelid slipping back from where it'd lay partway over his fiery eyes. It gave away the fact that he'd nearly fallen asleep where he was meant to be guarding, and as if to compensate, he shifted himself more upright on the back of the throne.

Glory, he thought, as--after a moment--he recognized the bird. It didn't come with a flood of warmth like it might have for a mammalian creature or even another avian, but Dread at least was faintly pleased to see his friend.

"Glory. It is good to see you well," he told the eagle, perhaps his best concession to friendly chatter. It was, though, an honest statement, and after speaking he looked around, down at the party that had formed while he'd been half-snoozing. "There was a weasel. It gave me shinies, and food, and asked me to guard this place while they gather. They are eating, and celebrating, though I don't know what." He shook himself, spines clattering, and looked back to Glory. "Do you remember the black wolf you fought? They say it is enemy. I am to watch for that, and for a goose-bird, or others that attack, until they are done here. If I get them, I get to eat them!" he added, a little possessively--as if laying claim to the potential food in advance.

He stared for a moment, and then forgot to be challenging over this, curiosity striking his one-track mind and distracting him almost at once. "What are you doing here?"

Reign trotted into the party, head high, gift in hand - well, teeth. A necklace, of sorts, small enough to fit on their King. It was thick, gold, and segmented so that it would move with him, but the empty spaces on the design had been carved out, so there was a distinct lack of weight. The carvings had been dulled by time, but still had shapes. Around his neck sat another necklace, this one a bit large for him - but large enough for, say, a deer. It was gold in color, with see-through blue-green oval gemstones in between golden beads.

Observing everyone, he watched as Pride approached Envy, offering his gift, before approaching the food and conversing with Greed, and taking in Dread and his conversation with the eagle. The Cheetah, then, approached Envy, bowing low as he offered the small necklace to the weasel. " A gift for you, my King."

The king was noticeably pleased as Pride approached, gift in hand- or, er, mouth. They grinned, puffing out their chest, and stood tall as the deer bowed low. They closed their eyes for a moment, basking in the feeling of validation. They struggled momentarily for words to say, something kingly and regal, that would set a good impression for their kingdom. "Thanks, Pride," they said finally, although the words felt strange on their tongue. Was it really proper for a king to show gratitude? to bring themselves down to the level of their subjects. Sudden panic overtook them, and they suddenly hoped that no-one had heard.

The weasel leaned over the edge of their throne to look over the gemstone that Pride had brought- it was very pretty. Excitement was obvious in their motions as they pattered down the side of the throne to place it next to them, so that no-one would think of stealing it.

They looked up as Pride's voice reached them once again, and they tilted their head. "Gluttony's specialty!" they twittered proudly. "It's supposed to be like that." They nodded at Reseda's words. "It's supposed to... loosen you up, a little." A shrug. "I think there's some that's fresher, somewhere. There are lots of fresh of the yellow things! (They make you sparkle!)" the weasel added at a whisper. They tilted their head to one side. Perhaps sparkling would be too much. They didn't need Pride to be too pretty. But, although they hated the thought of it, they knew somehow that it would suit him awfully well. Maybe the bananas were a bad idea after all.

Envy looked up as another of their subjects approached the throne. The weasel grinned as Reign approached, though their gaze kept straying towards the gifts he carried. When he got nearer, the weasel, this time, dipped their head in acknowledgement, folding their paws as they eagerly awaited their gifts. When it was offered, the weasel extended their small paws to receive it, then carefully bowed their head as they tried to put on the necklace over their crown.

They tried- but soon there was a tiny tinkling sound as they knocked their crown off their head and sent it skittering to the floor. Almost immediately the weasel panicked, transferred the necklace to their mouth and took off after it.

The stag sniffed again at the liquid. Gluttony's specialty..? Made you feel strange? He glanced to Reseda, then the drink once more. To be polite, he leaned in and took a sip.

That is disgusting! It burned! He choked, pulling back rapidly, swallowing the liquid down and coughing in surprise. It burned going down, and he braced himself, fully expecting to... die? To fall over, frothing and spasming? This was poison--right?

...But nothing happened; he felt a warm glow in his stomach. He grimaced; his first instinct was to just leave it alone, but he had to be polite. Again he leaned in, taking a few more swallows. When he pulled back, he only coughed once.

He could feel the warmth spreading through his body, and within minutes he felt... fuzzy, like the importance of the little things in the world had faded away. Things didn't quite make as much sense as they did, and for some reason, the sight of Envy struggling with their crown was funnier than it should have been. He snorted in amusement, then made his way over why do my legs feel strange? to the Throne, peering.

He did his best to use his magic as he approached, to help Envy out at least a little with replacing the crown using his spellwork. "Can I help you with that, my King?" he asked as he did so, and he only slurred a little.

...Damn, but that stuff was strong.

Glory chuckled. Of course Dread would be here for food and shiny things. It was the easiest way to the dragon's heart apparently. "I'm not sure what they're celebrating either but I think I got an invite from an old friend. Are you just here as a guard, then?" He knew that the wolf had said something about her family, but he had no idea that they were around here. Apparently the family was a threat to whoever these people were.

He looked down at the party and spotted the green weasel that Dread had mentioned. The crown on his head made it quite obvious that the creature was somehow important. "Well, I guess I should introduce myself to the weasel. If you need me, just shout!" He gave Dread one last nod before turning and gliding down towards the party. He landed in the middle of the crowd and folded his wings against his side. Spotting the weasel again, he made his way towards the king and gave a bow before them. It was strange to him, bowing to someone, especially someone smaller then him, but he wanted to show the respect he needed to show.

"I am Glory, the blacksmith from Monoceros. Lust gave me an invitation! I'm here with gift for the king." He lifted a claw and tapped his claw on the ground. As he lifted, a statue of emerald formed beneath his claws. A statue of Envy, while not perfect, was definitely recognizable in the gemstone. He stepped back, his feathers puffed proudly as he waited for the weasel to compliment his work.

He'd been waiting a while for this party, anxiously pacing around the nest, trying to appease Mama, terrified that he'd be seen wandering away to the place where the Sinful Seven gathered. He didn't want to draw attention to himself and he certainly didn't want to lead any of the Bloodberries to the party. But he was brave - he snuck out as best he could and flew around Orion for a bit, to throw off anyone that may have been following him, before finally turning himself towards the party place.

He crawled up towards the entrance and looked up at the great dragon guardiang over the party. Their ears flattened with fear and they cowered before its mighty, imposing figure. They opened their mouth to speak, but only a squeak came out. They wanted Shiny to say something reassuring but it seemed the sight of the dragon terrified the catsquirrel just as much as him. She clung to his back, her tiny claws digging into his scruff, and he could feel a gentle vibrating against his back. Shiny was terrified too.

"U-u-um...h-h-h-hello Mr. D-d-dragon....I'm, uhh, H-h-huckleberry. P-p-pride said I c-c-c-could c-come." He managed to speak but it was in a squeaking, horrified voice and he started backing away, terrified that he was about to get a blast of fire on his face.
