Wilder listened a little aimlessly. This was a strange fox and she talked weird but she kind of liked that. Black Dog was so mature and big and stoic. This was a, what did she call it...hermit? Yes, a hermit that seemed to like philosophy.
She barely understood her introduction sentence but what she got out of it was that her name was Miru and that, maybe, she didn't get out too much? She tilted her head and flicked her tail. "Do you not make a lot of friends? Is that why no one knows your name? I like making friends! We're friends now, right?"
But all this talk of magic was drawing Wilder deeper and deeper and it was, eventually, the sight of the blue light that set it off. Eyes widened and pupils dilated. She slowly stood up, the fur on her spine rippling. "I̵̯͆s̵̨̄ ̶͕̄t̶̖̎h̶̢̓a̴̭͋t̷̳̔.̷̮͑.̵͔̈.̵̰̀.̶̉ͅt̴̲̀h̴̤̋é̶̟ ̶̢̛Ș̴̀p̷̻̈i̴͔͒i̸̱͋i̴̾͜i̸̦͆ì̴͍r̸͔͐ŗ̸̕r̸̞̓r̸̛̩r̴̟̊ṛ̴͘e̴̤̿?" She reached out to touch it with a trembling paw and felt heat touch her skin but it didn't burn. She chocked and gasped, stepping away. Her whole body was trembling and her ears were turning back and forward back and forward. It was like she had lost control of her body's functions. "N̵̨̐o̵̫̕o̷̫͝o̵͎̽o̶̩̾ợ̶o̸̘͘o̷̖͋...." she gasped, "n̵̥͘o̶̜͗t̷̳͂.̶̳̓.̵̩̃.̶͎͘t̷͍͝h̵̻͝e̸̠̓ ̷͓͘S̷͉̏p̴̮̈i̵̱͝r̵͎̓ë̸͈́.̷͍͋"
She reached forward, her claws unsheathed, as if meaning to touch the fox, but from where she stood her paw could not reach. In her strange, garbling, harsh voice she cried, "Ẅ̷̝͕̞̱́h̴̟͈̟́o̶͓͌͒͠...̶̟̓͑̍͝a̶̱͉̒r̴̜͙̤̀̓̇͠e̸̫̥͌ ̶̹̱̩̓͋͆y̷̯̐̈̂̍ȍ̴͕́̒ů̵̢͂͘..."
