Appearance: A little less the size of their life giving parent and covered with thick white skin overlayed with a pattern of white and blue feathers. There is a cover of scales going down its stomach, splitting into two and meeting at about mid-level of its featherless legs. Behind it spreads a lush, pristine white feathered tail. It's front limbs are covered with thick, fluffy feathers and spread out into wings which gradually turn from white to blue in three levels. The end of the wing has an obvious claw-like hand similar to the ones of their life-giver. It's face is draconic save for its beaked mouth sticking out of its feathers. A pair of tiny horns beak out behind its bright pink eyes. Their gem is a rose quartz sticking up from its forehead in a sickle-shaped horn.

Appearance: Its appearance will not change drastically throughout its life, save for size and fur. As a juvenile, this hybrid will be a tiny 10 inches at the shoulder and measure 55 inches (4.5ft) in length, one-third of which is its tail. Icy-blue eyes almost glow against its black furry face, with a silvery-blue nose on its tiny snout; two rounded, fuzzy ears nearly blend into its head. A glittering moonstone left canine sticks out of its mouth and will grow only slightly as it ages. It has stout knobby-kneed front legs with webbed toes and webbing that extends from the back of the paw to its side; its back legs are longer, but bend to match its size unless extended by its two, long draconic toes, which will raise its rump into the air. It will sport very spiky and fuzzy black fur mane with a white stripe down the middle; the end of its tail will be a crazy hair day until it grows into its features. As it grows, its fur mane will thicken and surround its fuzzy black face. The fur will thicken greatly on the tail until most of the tail is covered in fur.
As an adult, its fur mane will be full and complete. It has not changed much elsewhere, except for its size: standing now 42 inches (3.5ft) at the shoulder and measuring 180 inches long (15ft), one-third of which is its tail. It will weight roughly 100 pounds; it is a mix of fatty tissues and thick muscle. It will not shed and its fur will keep it warm by trapping air for insulation between the long guard hairs and its dense underfur. If the guard hairs are kept clean, they will be waterproof (note: magic will still affect it). It has fully grown into its strange body, with exaggerated shoulder bones surrounded by fatty tissues, and hump-like feature on its rear, comprised completely of fatty tissues. The fur mane has nearly completely taken over its tail, though some of its bare skin can be seen just on the underside of the base of the tail. Its teeth are now all the same size, with its right canine matching the length of the moonstone left canine.
Despite the webbing on its forelegs, it cannot glide more than the extra distance in a jump. If it tries to glide from a high place, it will fall. It will have a very bouncy running motion. In the water, its webbed front toes will help it swim faster, propelled also by its strong, thick tail.

Appearance: This "scalebear" Gembound is born small, only about five pounds and a foot tall at birth. It will be characterized by its swift growth rate and constant ravening hunger, primarily for fish, but also for carrion and anything else it can find. If it consumes enough food, it will pack on a great deal of muscle and fat, topping out at approximately six hundred, seventy pounds. It will stand some four feet tall at the shoulder, with a length of seven feet, not including the tail.
Its body, as an adult, will be solidly muscular and well-insulated with fat, rendering it an excellent survivor in icy or snowy conditions. It will also be capable of swimming even in the coldest water for great distances, despite its lack of fur. Should it lose its fatty insulation, however, it will rapidly find that hypothermia is a very real threat. Once at full size, its hunger will somewhat recede.
Its body is covered in flexible, softer, snakelike white scales that are pearlescent, shining with soft pastel colors in various lights. Larger, more armored scutes cover the front of the limbs, the neck, the abdomen and chest, and the underside of the tail; even thicker, less flexible scales cover the spine from head to tail-tip. Bonier protrusions form a sort of crown around the edges of its jaw and head.
Its gem, a black onyx, forms a ring over the left eye, where it erupts in three locations to form dull points of varying size, the middle being the largest.
Long, dark claws tip each limb--five in the front, four at the back. The tail is stubby, but thick, and a good indicator of whether this "scalebear" has enough body fat: when well-fed, it is very thick and heavy; when malnourished, the tail will grow thin and wrinkled. This tail is of aid when swimming, to some extent, though is not long enough to add much propulsion; it does, however, function as a rudder of sorts, helping the Gembound to steer.

The last kid will be coming soon, once the design is finished, but these two are gonna be going up for adoption!! Once they hatch, Asimona will probably want to keep them around
forever for a while to help them grow up but after that they're yours to do with as you wish!
I'll be announcing who gets each hybrid on the 25th, which will give you 2 days before their hatching to get their profiles up and ready.
