Aeroth strode to the little tunnel she called home, sitting by the entrance and waiting for Aaliyah to catch up, smiling, her tail flicking from side to side impatiently.
”Speech”
"Thoughts"
Li looked around as they got closer to the place Aeroth called home. From what she had seen, Eridanus seemed to have recovered. There were new plants and life growing. She relaxed slightly at the sight. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad. She turned to Aeroth, a small smile on her face, as she looked at the tunnel.
Li followed Aeroth into the tunnel, her long tail flicking slightly behind her. It took some time for her eyes to adjust to the light that filtered in, but when it did, she looked around. The first thing she noticed was an area filled with different trinkets. It seemed like a rather wide variety - rocks, a branch, gems, a bone. She glanced back at Aeroth briefly before continuing to look around. That didn't take long, so she soon directed her attention back to the jaguarundi.
Li watched as Aeroth laid on a little grass bed. It looked fairly comfy - the ground of Orion was usually rather hard - and she wanted to lay beside her. On the bed. Which would surely be much softer than Orion. And it would probably also be nice to lay against someone, who is even softer than the bed...
She thought of Envy then. Could she really live here with Aeroth? Did Envy miss her? Thinking about the weasel caused a pit of dread to form in her stomach. She'd been away for so long. Were they okay?
Did Envy even need her?
That single thought made her freeze. They had their group. Their "kingdom," if she remembered correctly. They'd lived for cycles without her before, and now they definitely weren't alone. She almost glanced back at Aeroth before realizing she was starting to cry. She closed her eyes, trying to fend them off, but it didn't help. She took a deep breath and turned back to the jagurundi. She looked at her and then back outside the little tunnel, torn between staying and going to check on Envy. Even if they didn't need her.
