Ákos had been wandering around for a while. The last thing he remembered was heading to Monoceros after spending some time in Orion, which is why it shocked him when he awoke to his red cinnabar gem encasing him. He quickly broke out and scrambled away from the toxic gem. He clacked his beak at it before looking around.

It appeared as though he was in the tunnel between Orion and Monoceros. He must've hibernated and slipped into his gem. How much time had passed? A day? A cycle? Multiple cycles? He had no way of knowing. Unless he found someone. But he didn't really want to go looking for anyone, and it didn't feel like many passed through here. There would be someone eventually though, right? What if his mother went looking for him?

He hadn't seen her in so long. Of course, he didn't need her! In fact, he didn't need anyone. He would be just fine on his own. He had lived this long - he could live even longer! He just had to find some food. And get out of this tunnel.

It was then that the wave of loneliness struck him. He didn't want to - never would - couldn't - admit it, but he was rather lonely. He'd been away from others for so long...Surely it couldn't hurt to find someone else! But would he be able to find anyone? Or would he be doomed to this loneliness?

He didn't want to see anyone, but he wanted to. He needed to. Or maybe he could just stay here...
