Sure, there are many creatures that can swim in the water. They can jump in and swim around... but there are few creatures who can spend live their life in it, Zelk was one of those creatures. No other mammal can rival the bond a polar bear has with water. Polar bears are semi-aquatic, they are expert swimmers, and they can dive deep and stay underwater for a full two minutes, maybe a bit longer. They can see underwater, just like they do on land. Yes, Polar bears were made for the water, and Zelk was proud of her kind. The bear cub was well deep under the waters of Fornax, as always, amazed at exploring her second world beneath the surface. She swam with grace, her icy blue on her chest gem shining under the water's light. Going underneath the water was a way for Zelk to escape, and the fact that she was made for and belonged underneath water, made her feel special. The cub never got tired of exploring the waters of Fornax. She went to the surface, floating on her back. Zelk looked up at the room's ceiling, wondering and hoping that more polar bears were out there. She wanted to know that there were more of her kind. Now though, the white cub focused on feeling at one with the second world she also called home. Fish were swimming all around her, a sign that water could hold life.
