Child Name: Up to adopter
Gender: Up to adopter
Species: Arctic Wolf x Chilean Flamingo
Appearance: This hybrid could almost be mistaken for a canine, if it weren't for their beak and paws, which border on some strange mix between webbed bird feet and wolf claws. It's shoulders and haunches are almost entirely covered in hefty feathers whereas the rest of it's body is covered in shaggy fur. It grows up to be about the size of a small wolf and it's gemstone is located in a V-shape across it's chest.
Element: Fungus
Stone: Ammolite

Child Name: Up to adopter
Gender: Up to adopter
Species: Arctic Wolf x Griffin Vulture
Appearance: This hybrid has the head of a wolf that is covered in a thin fuzz, and it's body is largely shaped like a canine. It's neck is covered in a thick mane of fluffy downy feathers and it's claws are a mix between wolf paws and vulture's talons, with soft paw-pads underneath. It's shoulders and haunches are covered in feathers, and it has large tail-feathers that might be well-suited for flight. If only it had wings. It grows up to be about the size of your average wolf. It's gemstone is located on it's rib, sticking out between feathers.
Element: Fungus
Stone: Larimar

Both of these babies are going up for adoption!

Interested? Fill out the details in the form below! I'll be deciding who can get their filthy little hands on them on April 1st, which gives you plenty of time to get ready for them hatching.

As for plotting-- Kera will want to stick fairly close to her children and Teach Them Everything She Knows and raise them to be little heroes-- which means I'd prefer applications that potray them as happy kids. Although they're absolutely free to wander off on their own, Kera will want to keep a close eye on them for their first few cycles. You know. In case a goose tries to kill them.

Name: Loki (probably)
Gender: Male
Description of personality: Loki, like his namesake, is a mischievous little creature. Selfish and slippery, constantly stirring up minor trouble for his own amusement or stealing whatever he can get his claws on. He often doesn't listen to authority and might actually do exactly the opposite of what he is told, unless he actually respects said authority. He's a little rebel and is hard to tie down to anything that he doesn't want to do. Full of controlled energy and enthusiasm, but only he can decide where those things are released. That's not to say that he's mean or bad, he's actually quite good at heart. His jokes are harmless and he doesn't take from those that deserve what they have. More of a steal from the rich and give to the poor kind of figure. Doing what he wants but never harming those that do not deserve to be harmed.

Like his mother, he is brave. Perhaps brave to the point of stupidity but he simply can't stand to back down from a challenge. Whether a physical challenge to do a task or fulfill an objective or even a fight, although he isn't the greatest at combat. No matter what it is, though, he'll do it his own way, complete things the way he wants to, in his own time. He's very easily taken by emotions such as anger or jealousy but not so much things like sadness or hopelessness. The fire that burns in him takes him forward to do things, solve problems with action, not shrink away from danger or hand it off to someone else. He can be surprisingly responsible at times, taking care of others or taking the lead if the situation calls for it. He's adaptable to anything, shifting his iron focus to and fro whenever need be.

And, of course, he will be shaped otherwise through his roleplay and interactions.

RP sample: Loki slunk forward, his belly brushing the ground and his dark feathers invisible in the shadows. Bright blue eyes raked the tunnel, darting towawrds movement or anything of interest. There were a couple here...the goose he could see and the wolf. The wolf was snoozing at the moment and the goose was preening the feathers on her back. That was good - they were distracted for now. He smirked. Soon he'd be running right out of this tunnel and the goose would be none the wiser.

His eyes finally caught on something. A little rock, a trinket, perhaps, but it seemed to be in a place of importance. On a small ledge amidst the old bones of some poor creature. There. That was it. That was what he'd be taking today.

He carefully controlled his breathing and began circling around the two lying in the nest. He kept his eyes on them as he very slowly, very carefully, slunk around them until he was right where he needed to be. The only problem now was that he was on the other side of the tunnel . If he wanted to get any closer, he'd have to go into the open for a moment.

He watched the goose as her head moved around, picking at different feathers and, right as she turned away from where he was, he bolted. As fast as he could without making noise, he sprinted across the open ground and dove behind the first rock he came to. Once he was there, his ears perked, waiting for any kind of noise. But the two didn't react. He'd gone unnoticed.

Loki bared his teeth and restrained a small barking laugh. Morons. Couldn't even protect their own nest properly. He was in the middle of their territory and they had no idea. Now...to take the little stone...

Carefully and slowly, he began to creep forward, eyes still glued to Blackberry as she groomed her feathers. He was getting closer to it now...closer....closer....almost there!

His head skipped a beat as the wolf's nose twitched and she lifted her head. "Mother..." she whispered. Time was up. He had been almost there, anyways. He bunched his muscles and burst out of the shadows, pouncing right on top of the gemstone and scooping it up in her mouth. She didn't stop and she leaped over Blackberry and landed on the other side her, near the wolf, but now wasn't the time to stop either. She took off down the tunnel, hearing a loud barking and honking behind her as the two gave chase, but Loki was faster. Their voices began to grow distant and he let out a loud cawing laughter through the gem he had under his tongue. They were so stupid! He'd gone right into the middle of their nest and stolen something from their prizes without them even getting in a scratch! He continued to laugh all the way through the tunnel until he disappeared into Orion, happily clutching his prize.

HALO
female (she/her)

PERSONALITY.
As any child raised in a murder-free household should be, Halo is enthusiastic and cheerful from the get-go. Right out of the chrysalis, her eyes will sparkle with avid curiosity, yet hold the hard glare of a whip-smart Gembound capable of capturing and holding information near-instantly. Little goes unnoticed by those eyes — built for scavenging from high above, circling for prey, and for detecting the slightest movements in the brush. While she may not immediately voice her suspicions, they are most certainly held. In the aspects of great intellect and good memory, she is incredibly resourceful and introspective. There will be little, if any, need for outside correcting in her behaviors or thought processes.

Unfortunately, she has little common sense or impulse control. While overstimulated by her surroundings, the hybrid becomes a brash and reckless creature, speaking out of turn and acting without much thought. Halo comes off as far meaner than intended, especially when frustrated and having difficulty articulating. Things that frustrate her are some classics: stupidity, paradoxes, watching others not bear consequences, being forced into control. Halo really dislikes being a leader or a follower, preferring to go her own way in life; she's chaotic neutral at its finest. Very, very dire circumstances exclusively make her consider being a team player.

She's a futch icon, really.

SAMPLE.
Toes: stretch. Legs: stretch. Mouth: yawn and stretch.

Halo's peach-fuzzed face contorted into a mass of wrinkles as she blinked awake. In peak downward dog pose, the hybrid's mantle and tail flared up, feathers spreading out. A quick lean, and every joint in her spine seemed to snap. Sighing contentedly, she drew herself up. Peering side to side, her resting place was just how she remembered it: not a speck of dust out of place. Aside from the flies crawling all over her half-rotten, stolen meal, there had been no visitors. Halo batted at the flies for a few moments, rather fruitlessly, before simply bowing down and digging in. Her teeth masterfully made quick work of what little remained on the mangled carcass's bones. The flies could have the rest. She wasn't going to stay in this little alcove, anyways. It was stinky as all get out, for whatever reason.

Beats her.

Licking her chops and plodding out into the cave, Halo flicked her ears forward. Her mother wasn't about, it seemed, which was fine. There were important Lightbringer duties to complete, such as obliterating the Bloodberries, if they were ever found. Blunt talon-claws scuffed against stone, the shine of quartz above reflecting in her gaze. The starry vault was the same as it ever was, but seemed very curious today. Or, maybe, that was just her projecting. Halo shook her head, smiling slightly with a laugh.

Maybe she'd go for a spot of exploring, today — find some fancy title and duties for herself, by herself.
Hybrid: Arctic Wolf x Chilean Flamingo
Name: Mars
Gender: Male
Description of personality: Mars finds it easy to get into sticky situations. Part of this is because of his overall pugnacious attitude and part of just seems to do with his bad luck. Getting into scraps is a bit of a pass time, but never are they truly serious. He just has a blast pushing others buttons.

He does have a good heart when it comes down to it. In fact, Mars does enjoy helping others as much as he enjoys getting into little wrestling matches. In fact, he secretly aspires to be a healer of sorts. It is often through trial and error that he figures out what type of plant does what, but he will get it eventually! His determination keeps him going.

RP sample: His sides heaved as she struggled to catch his breath. All of his feathers were fluffed in a disgruntled array. His eyes followed the trunk of the tree in front of him to the branches high above his head. There sat his target. A cave rat, just about as ugly as could be, glowered down at him. In it's mangy little paws dangled a mouse that Mars had killed just moments before.

"Ooh, you little pest!" He snapped, barking up at the tree. "No good, filthy, rat! That's mine!" He placed his front talons on to the trunk, glaring at the scoundrel.

After a brief moment, he pushed off the tree and paced in a circle trying to conjour up a way to get his mouse back. Mars wasn't starving, but he had still made the effort to catch it! Think... think... thi-Oh! A rock!

Mars grabbed a small rock in his beak and swung his head as hard as he could, launching the rock towards the rat. With a satisfying thud, the rock smacked the cave rat in the chest and the mouse in its paws fell to the ground. The rat gave a startled squeal.

"Ha! Take that!" Mars bounded to the mouses carcass and scooped it up. He looked back up to the rat and shouted, "Nesht time, mesh wif someone your own sish!"

The rat gave another cry, one of which Mars assumed was of defeat. But, as usual, he as not that lucky. The branches began to shake and suddenly another cave rat came up beside the first. Then another... and another... and-

"Oh shit."

The rats began to scamper down the trunk in a cascade of filthy matted fur. With that, Mars dropped the mouse and bolted. Luck never seemed to be on his side.
