Kera had remained silent for the duration of the pair's journey down tunnel K, still uneasy from the encounter with the Collection, and the task he'd set for them. As soon as she crossed into Orion, however, she felt relief wash through her shoulders.
She'd hatched here. It was home to her.
"What's the point in having a king?" She asked Pride half-abruptly as she weaved through crumpled buildings, crossing the room towards the throne. "What does it do? What benefit's it got?"
"The three kings sure as fuck don't seem to do anything," she added pointedly, looking around. "They just bicker and argue and things. I hope that isn't what your king does."
Kera didn't quite see the appeal in it, of course. She began climbing up the platform towards the throne and plonked herself down before it, staring up. This, supposedly, was where kings are supposed to sit.
Seemed like shit to her, really. All you get for being a king is a chair and some arguments? And, maybe occasionally, some cool rocks and a revived architect?
Whatever, Kera decided. They had things to do here.
