And then he stopped.

The kitten scrambled across Huckleberry's back, between his wings, and held back onto the scruff of his neck. She had the advantage, now, of being able grip the loose skin without actually hurting him or drawing blood-- which is exactly what she did.
Then, with a white mitten, began furiously whacking the back of his head. Likely not all that hard, considering the difference in size, but certainly enough to be annoying.
She quickly found, however, that it was too difficult to keep a grip and whack at the same time. So, instead, she just gripped Huckleberry as hard as she could in case he started shaking again.
