Aetius gently held the flower in her wings, happy that the beautiful White Rose was now hers. She gave a nice short nod before she spoke. "Thank you Rift! I will take great care of this plant. Thank you for letting me into your kingdom. I am going to start finding a place to make my nest on the ground. I'll move to one of the trees when I can fly though. Oh, something I must ask before I forget! Is there a rank I may take up in the kingdom? I was hoping to be something like a garden care-taker or something like that. If that's alright with you of course. Oh, maybe I could even be a guard! Since I am a part of the kingdom I should at least take on a rank to help out!" The young owl really wanted to take on a rank. She wanted to be helpful in her home.

Rift watched the owl as she fondly cradled the rose in her wings. He was happy to see the youth already getting excited about the prospect of his Kingdom but her question actually did take him by surprise.

He frowned, his one ear twitching curiously. "You are very eager to take on a role, but you are still young. For now, I think, we would be happy to have you as a citizen of our Kingdom. You can learn from the Cultivators or the Guard but I would not feel comfortable giving you a proper position just yet. I will tell you when I think you are ready."

Aetius nodded showing that she understood. She gave a small chirp before speaking. "Very well, fair enough. I'm going to go find a place in Eridanus to build my nest. As well as find a place here to plant my flower. I'll see you around Rift, and thank you for letting me into your kingdom." With that the young snowy owl began to hop away. Her adventure was going to begin now she supposed. The little one respected Rift's decision for her to wait to get a rank. She was content with learning for now. Oh the possibilities for her to help the kingdom was so vast! Now though, she had to find a place to start building her nest.

Rift nodded. "Of course. If you need anything of me, do not hesitate to ask." He watched her as she hopped away, his tail flicking back and forth before turning away and returning to his task of tending to the garden. There were always weeds to stop in their tracks and plants to water and tend to.
