Gea hadn't met the Creator, but she had heard of him.
She was keen eyed, and keen eared. So when they began to talk about creating dye, she was all for it. Learning something new? Oh, Caves yeah! What all did she need to bring?
Well, she would bring everything. She loved metal, and ore, and all those kinds of things. So she was going to bring them to the Creator!
Bright eyes scanned the ground as she flew, looking out for anything shiny. Something shiny she could bring to the Creator to make into something! There were plenty of shiny things in here, she knew, but it had to be a really shiny thing!
And, there! She found it! Diving down, she landed on the ground, digging her talons into the ground and working to pry it free from the dirt. Having done so, she grabbed it in her beak, before taking to the air, intending on finding some ore before heading back to the Creator.
Her feathered stomach nearly scraped the ground as she flew, trying to look for the tell-tale coloration of ochre. And it didn't take her long before she found some, although she nearly flew clear passed it.
It wasn't a lot - she landed, and worked to scrape it up, finally unearthing a chunk only as big as her talon. It was easy to grab it in her talon, taking to the air with her metal in her beak and her ochre in her talon, to head back to the Creator.
