Zevruu's eyes narrowed at Wilder's reaction to his words. She seemed curious - far too curious. He didn't like it. He also didn't like her insistence that she could take care of herself. Looking over her, she seemed young - far too young. Certainly not like someone who could hold up against the Dreamstalker. Still, he didn't say anything. Not about that, at least. Not yet.

Don't use it...Well, seemed a simple enough idea. Except he hadn't even meant to use it in the first place. It had just...happened in his panic as he tried desperately to cast something after failing horribly. "I'll try not to use it, I guess. Though I hadn't exactly meant to use it in the first place. It had just...happened, accidentally." He looked away, eyes gazing around him, as if looking for something. Watching. "I may not use magic again. Just...just to be safe. Or maybe only a small selection of spells?"

Wilder didn't really understand what the problem was. She didn't understand that some people weren't as in control of their magic as she was. Her tail tapped on the ground thoughtfully. "Well, maybe what you need to do is practice it. Hear me out - I know it was bad casting it the first time but maybe something just went wrong? Maybe if you tried to use it more, in the future it won't fail you as much! Yeah, I'm sure that's the only problem!" She nodded her head proudly.

To live life without magic? To Wilder, it was unthinkable. She lived and breathed magic. Half of her life was consumed with the use of magic. Maybe she could teach him how to use magic better. "Magic is great, though! You just need to get better at using it!"

The other feline didn't respond to that, so Wilder simply sighed and sat herself down, to wait with him while he collected his thoughts, and to maybe help when he felt better about it.
