Aetius was happy to be a part of the Kingdom of Eridanus. But what the little one had noticed is that Rift had the ability to wield powers pertaining to plants. What power did she have? The little owl wandered in the tunnel trying to figure out what she had. She paced back and forth wondering what she could do. Aetius shook her head in frustration. There had to be something she could do! Was it water she could command, or maybe plant life like Rift? The little owl did not know but by the caves she was determined to find out. Aetius was not going to sit around wondering. She needed to find out. Her attention turned to the carvings on the wall. She stared at them for a moment, wondering what they were there for.
Aetius continued to look at the carvings. What were they there for? She hopped closer to one of the carvings, putting both of her wings on one of them that was closer to the ground. Her head cocked to the side. Apparently someone put these designs on these walls. The carving looked so weird. Aetius felt a strong feeling, as if there was something she was supposed to do. The feeling was frustrating, and she felt something strange well up in her gem. No, she wasn't going to give up now. She was going to keep at it until she figured out what her power was. Keep at it, and you'll figure it out. You are a proud snowy owl, you'll figure it out.
Concentrate, just concentrate on the carving. A weird feeling rushed in her entire body. Then, suddenly her gem began to glow and a flashback came into her mind. What was this?! She didn't have control over an element, but she had control over the power of her mind. Aetius knew she had to tell Rift about this. Just the touch of another object, gave her the memories attached to it. With a power like this, she could find out the secrets of the cave. The owl looked at her gem as the glow began to fade. She replayed the flashback from the memory in her head over and over. This was odd, but at the same time, arcane and wonderful.
The vision was not quite clear, but it was there.

Small, dark figures, hovering--flying?--chiselling and hammering at the stone. A distant voice shouting; the works speeds up. Chips of stone shower down around her, glittering in the dim light.

@Aetius
That wasn't enough with just that meek vision. No, she needed to try again! She looked quickly at a different carving nearby, placing her wings on the different one. Practice makes perfect right? Yes, it sure did. Suddenly her gem glowed brighter than it did before. A different image went through her head, this time it was more clearer. She focused and paid closer attention this time. Now, this gave proof that there was more to the caves than what she was seeing. There were secrets, magic, and even lore beneath the walls of this cave. And this owl was going to find out all of it. She took in a deep breath, replaying the image again in her head. Aetius now knew she had some sort of arcane magic. This owl was going to use it for sure.
There they were again. Flying, chiselling, hammering.

Clearer, now, but still shrouded; and another, larger figure passed over her vision. A loud voice called out. "Hurry up!" The words echoed through Aetius' mind, distant, as if calling down the hollow tunnel from a distance. "Stop dawdling! Or do you want to be..." The rest of the threat faded with the last of the image.
