Seraphim stepped out of Tunnel K's darkness and into the glittering light of a grand, new gave. She starred at the ceiling, awe stuck by the "stars" above her. "Pretty." She gasped. Her blue eyes twinkled, like the crystals of Orion.
For a moment, she soaked in their light; her own element. Seraphim tried to sparkle like them, she knew she could, but the sunstone crest on her head did not react. The foal deflated, disappointed that she could not match their splendor, but not deterred.
Seraphim's attention turned to land that laid out before her. Until now, all that she new was the lonely fields of Canis, and dusty darkness of Tunnel K. It went without a doubt that she preferred Orion to her birthplace. It was just an inkling, but Seraphim began to understand what the Collector meant by "what is good, and what is bad". Still, though Orion was more beautiful, much of it was still shrouded in mystery. Seraphim had no idea of what to expect beyond the crystal pillars.
Carefully, she made her way down the rocks. Her foal legs were much stronger than before, still, the uneven footing made it a bit tricky. Eventually, the foal found herself trotting amongst a forest of strange, stone structures. They were the crumbling ruins of buildings, but she had know way of making that distinction. Seraphim paused and a looked around, confused. "Hello?" She called out to the shadows. "Hello?' The Collector said there others like her about, yet she did not see anyone. "I was told that I was not alone," She said to the emptiness as if these being were hiding or would materialize before her. "Yet I seem to be."
